Please come to the Mezquita on foot. Enter the Patio de los Naranjos, which is free to access. Look for a fountain located in front of the ticket office, and in one corner of that fountain, there is an olive tree (the rest are orange trees). Please go near the olive tree; we will meet you there.

Mezquita Tour - Maria is knowledgeable and organized, and gave us a good understanding of the successive iterations of the Mezquita and those who built and gave and continue to worship there

A must do in Cordoba - Our first tour on our Andalucia holiday. This is stunning. The hundreds of columns are quite disorientating and made me feel the building was miles long. Very glad we had a guide to help us get the most from our visit

In-depth - The mezquita is packed and even at the start of April Cordoba can be very hot especially in the afternoon. Best to take the tour in the afternoon, if you are staying in town for the night as the crowd thins later in the afternoon. Sorry forgot who toured us but she was very engaging and explained well. There were many characters in the history of the mosque and the tour guide should be eloquent and concise to explain well and yet not overwhelm the tourists. She was able to do that. It was supposed to be a small group tour but there were only 2 of us on that day. She also gave us opportunities to take photos and videos which was nice and didn’t feel rushed.

Cordoba, a city full of details thanks to a city guide, a must for such a visit - Visited the city of Cordoba with a rented city guide, a charming feisty lady, who guided us 2h30 around Cordoba, the Mosque, the avenues, the small streets and the Jewish Quarter, very pleasant and educational, without a guide you do not know much and do not pay attention to beautiful details and special features, a must for a city like Cordoba

It's easily one of the most interesting and stunning historical buildings that we have visited in Spain. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and engaging about both its architecture and history.
