A great way to explore Cordoba - My wife, our 16 year old daughter and I did this self-guided food tour as soon as we arrived in Cordoba. We have enjoyed guided food tours in other cities but only had one day in Cordoba and did not want to commit 3-4 hours of our limited time. The self-guided tour was perfect as it gave us some structure to take a walk around the city with some curated choices for where to eat while allowing us to go at our own pace. While you need to be at the first stop within 30 minutes of your selected start time, you have until 9 pm to complete your final stop which for us gave us 8.5 hours of flexibility! We did three of the four stops in a row which made a nice lunch and then saved the final stop for an appetizer before dinner hours later. We enjoyed getting to choose between 2 tapas and multiple drinks at each location. It gave us a chance to try many of the typical Cordoban tastes. It felt like a very good value for 4 tapas and 4 alcoholic beverages.

Fun way to spend an afternoon - This was our first self-guided food tour, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect — but overall it turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. Within minutes of booking, we received a comprehensive information pack, including maps and QR codes. Shortly after, the organiser gave us a friendly call to make sure everything had been received and was clear, which was a nice personal touch. The tour itself was a great way to spend the afternoon. Moving between venues at our own pace gave us the flexibility to explore, and we found ourselves wandering down side streets and discovering small shops we likely wouldn’t have come across otherwise. The format worked well: four restaurants, each offering a choice of two tapas dishes and a drink per person. As a couple, this was ideal — we could order both options at each stop and share, which allowed us to try a wider range of dishes. We were particularly impressed with the first three restaurants, which offered excellent food and atmosphere. The final stop, however, didn’t quite match the same standard, which is the main reason for the four-star rating. One area for improvement would be providing a bit more context around the selection of restaurants and dishes — some background or storytelling would add depth to the experience. That said, this is naturally the trade-off with a self-guided format, which offers greater flexibility but less interaction. It would also have been nice to finish with a dessert option at the final stop to round out the experience. Overall, a well-organised and enjoyable way to explore Córdoba’s food scene, with just a few areas that could elevate it further.
