Guided Patio Tour in Cordoba - My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We visited approx. 7 patios ( courtyards) which all had an amazing variety of flowers. The owners spoke to us about the maintenance of the patios, which are handed down from generation to generation. The only problem was that sometimes it was difficult to get photos, as the patios are quite small and there are a lot of people all wanting to take the same photos!

A look at some of the beautiful patio gardens of Cordoba - Our guide took us to visit the patios of several houses whose gardens are open to the public. It is possible to purchase tickets and do this on your own, but you would miss out on the information about the history of the house or the owners or the gardens. In some cases the owner was present to answer questions or tell you themselves, but for most of them, the guide provided the information. Because many of these are private homes, they are only available for visiting in the afternoon for 2 hours. We were in the off season so we did not have to wait at most of the houses. .

Beautiful but chaotic - I’d definitely recommend getting access to the patios, they are beautiful! The tour guide gave some great context and background to the tradition. The only issue is that the tour is somewhat chaotic since there are many other groups going to the patios at the same time. Be prepared for the tour to go a little long and do some waiting (this was not the guides fault, just the nature of this experience).

That you have to wait on... - You have to wait on numerous lines and due to overcrowding, you aren’t able to spend enough time at the sites.

Feels like a scam - It's a waste of time and it's very annoying..you go there you wait ...they tell you let's go to the next ...you go to the next...still other groups waiting ahead and you go to the next one ... ridiculous!!!! I would recommend to the travellers to scroll down on their own...to save time money and effort

Could not find tour guide and no response when trying to contact - Reached meeting point at exactly the time as we had just arrived in cordoba that afternoon and had to register. The meeting point area was crowded with many people - we walked around checking different groups. Tried contacting tour with no response on message forum and WhatsApp. Eventually a bit later they said they tried to call which we never received- when traveling we only receive calls via WhatsApp which we were messaging on. When meeting in a busy crowded area better instructions need to be given and an object to look out for that separates group leaders in a crowd. We were very disappointed as our time in Cordoba is short and we were trying to see as much as we could in a short time
