Very well explained - A wonderfully explained tour with a very professional guide (Emilio). The truth is that if we return to Cordoba soon, we will hire again.

Fascinating historical tour with a bit of a side show. - Strangely, this tour highlighted some of the most significant historical areas in the country, yet it also has an element of an amusement park contrivance. We were expertly guided through this concoction with wit and humour and despite the addition of Roman mosaics [which were fascinating and not from the Alcazar]and 20th century gardens and water features, it actually made for an enjoyable tour. We were allowed to revisit parts after our tour so we’re able to go up the tower and revisit the real historical area of the Alcazar with the interesting tale of the King, his wife and the mistress [and her garden pools] without which, Spanish and World history may have been very different.

Excellent walking tour! - Nice and short walking tour of the Alcazar (1 hr). Without the tour guide (Emilio), walking through the Alcazar would have been a bit boring since there isn't much to see. However, Emilio not only gave a really good and concise background of the history of the town but in each section of the Alcazar, he gave lots of great info. His English was perfect as well! Most of the tour guides we've had in Spain don't speak the best English sadly so we were really impressed with him :)

Well, the guide was in a hurry. Zero empathy. Zero enthusiasm. Zero on everything. - Even though at night, it's beautiful, I'd advise the day. The Alcazar is a beautiful!! It deserves daylight to really appreciate it.

Disappointed - Didn’t get the email after web confirmation of the tour with TA. Therefore, we couldn’t change or cancel the reserved tour. There’s something wrong with the handoff between you and the tour operator. Request refund.

No guide necessary! - Out of all the impressive historic sites we visited in Andalusia, the Artencordoba visit to the Alcazar was the most disappointing, possibly due to the poor guiding experience. Firstly, it was difficult to find our guide before the visit. Despite only buying our tickets the day before, the meeting place information on our ticket had not been updated to the new entrance location on the opposite side of the Alcazar complex. We also had to ask a guide from another guide company where we may find our guide, as she was not obvious. Also during the tour, our group had trouble keeping track of our guide in the crowd. Our guide's standard of English was poor, for which she kept apologising. It was difficult for us, as English speakers to understand her and even harder for those in our group for whom English was not their first language. Our guide abandoned us after 40 minutes of a 1 hour tour, everyone in the group seemed relieved, as she really was not adding any enjoyment or interesting facts to our visit. After we had been left by her in the gardens to complete our visit ourselves, we met the Spanish group from Artencordoba, who had started their tour just before us, with their guide still in full swing and plenty still to see. Our guide omitted to take us up the tower, for which there was a huge queue, so we did not see the views from this point. The gardens are impressively aromatic, but quite unkempt compared to other sites. The Roman mosaics are worth seeing. However, it would be better to pay the relatively inexpensive entrance fee and do the tour oneself. If there is a queue for the tower, do not bother, but book a tower visit at the Mezquita-Catedral instead, the views there were fabulous and a ticket was just 3€.

Viator scam - Viator changed tour after booking so was unable to attend yet they declined refund despite within their conditions. Full payment for nothing.
Cannot comment on experiences itself but viator id good when simple but nightmare when something wrong (had once before too)
