Very informative and interesting. The Park Ranger who led the tour was very knowledgeable and made the tour a very pleasant experience.
Pele did a great job of explaining what we were seeing and answering all our questions.
It was an informative, value for money experience.
Great driver and state parks ranger
The trip was very enjoyable with several stops for photo taking and delightful commentary on route. I would highly recommend it.
Beautiful scenery & knowledgeable guide.
Nice views of the park, and did not have to drive . Tour gave us info on which areas we wanted tor return to, to see more.
We enjoyed the tour very much. It was a bonus to be able to go completely around since the west side was closed due to fires. However, one problem happened that was unforeseen when the radiator heated on the trolley. We had to wait a short while but they sent another trolley quickly and we were only 30-40 minutes over. We liked our guide, Linda, who was very knowledgable about the area and answered all our questions.
The tour stopped a lot places and the render (Pele) was very knowledgeable informative and amusing!
We loved the beauty we saw on our trip and were very impressed by the knowledge of our tour guide. She was knowledgeable and very informative. We had people with us from Colorado, California and Iowa. So proud of our Oregon beauty.
So much information and great viewpoints along the way. Comfortable way to see the entire Rim of the Crater, we took 2 of the other hiking trails that were recommened after the tour!!!!! Thanks for a Great time!
The tour, staff and trolley were all excellent--especially the Ranger. We had the misfortune of being there during a particularly smokey day from the wildfires--nothing the Tour could control. Thus one star less. However, we enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.
Staff was fun and engaging. Driver did a great job.
Enjoyed the trolley experience very much. Ranger Larry was so informative. Places we stopped were spectacular. So glad that we chose to take the trolley tour.
It was wonderful trip for my family, amazing views and rich information
We split our students between two trolleys. Both our Rangers were excellent!! The staff getting the tickets were patient and drivers were safe and we felt very secure.
Excellent tour guide and tram driver.
The on-board personnel were the best - driver and guide. Both very friendly, humorous, informative, polite. Accommodated patrons with mobility issues. Accepted and answered all questions from the patrons. Weather was good despite forest fire smoke in the area - visibility was OK.
What we expected, but lots of attention to special requests to stop for a photo, etc.
Robert and Doug were wonderful! Funny and informative talk by Doug on the trolley. Robert was humorous and such a delight as well! They made for a dynamic duo. And of course, the tour itself around Crater Lake was just amazing. What a natural wonder! Thank you so much for this service!!!
The tour guide from the NPS was excellent.
Great driver, Gary, and excellent Ranger guide, Ann. So nice not to worry about driving myself and worrying about missing something. Really a fabulous solution for solo travelers to Oregon's spectacular gem. Hope I got the names right!
Our Tanger guide was very informative and fun to be with. The Trolkey could also travel where cars were not allowed, giving us a larger perspective on areas of the park. We were comfortable and vs riding in our own cars, we could relax and concentrate on observing and taking photos during the several stops made.
Robert the Trolley driver was great and the National Park Interpretive Volunteer was outstanding in her presentation and knowledge. Thank you all very much. All 7 of us had and outstanding time.
Driver was very friendly and Ranger was excellent.
Robert, the trolley driver and the park volunteer, were outstanding.
We loved the trolley. It gave us an easy, peaceful way to circle the lake, with both of us being able to admire the scenery instead of driving. I highly recommend the trolley!
We were visiting at a time of nearby wildfires and were not able to see the splendor of this beautiful place, but decided to take the guided trolley tour to see and learn what we could. Ranger Ann was fantastic and so knowledgeable! It turned out to be a beautiful day despite the unhealthy air conditions. I highly recommend taking this tour versus driving it alone.
Knowledge of the tour guide and the views.
Had a great time, had great information and interpretation.
Great driver! Great ranger!
The guide was super knowledgeable about the history of Crater Lake. The stops had plenty of time to see and take pictures.
First of all - great communication. We were informed about out tour time change in timely order. When we came earlier, we were offered to take the earlier tour. The driver and Park Ranger did great job during the tour. It was informative. A lot of stops gave us the opportunity to see the Lake from different views. We enjoyed every minutes of it. Thank you!
Very user friendly. My wife got sick after purchasing ticket. They gave me a refund. Nice. Would suggest a bit less commentrary. Non- stop for two hours is way too much.
The trip and the narration were excellent. Even though I had received a written confirmation (printed off e-mail statement), the ladies insisted that I had been booked for the 10 a.m. tour which had just left. Luckily, I had the confirmation with me and we were able to take the 11 a.m. tour as planned. They really did not seem to know what they were doing. Nonetheless despite this unpleasantness, would recommend the tour to anyone visiting Crater Lake.
It was a very beautiful experience. Very calm and serene. We loved our guide on September 1 at 12 noon. He was super knowledgeable and funny. Will recommend to everyone.
