A True Escapade - This excursion was the perfect tour for my first full day in Roatan. My husband asked me where I wanted to go for our annual summer vacation. In 2018, we had the pleasure of experiencing this beautiful country while on an excursion for carnival cruise lines. That experience led me to read up on the history and people of Honduras. The choice was simple: Roatan. The people were so welcoming, and the food was exquisite, not to mention the tour guide's patience, professionalism, and congeniality (in 2018). This experience was exponentially 2.0! Ron Whitaker is a local historian, not just a tour guide. His love for and knowledge of his homeland was evident from the greeting to the drop-off. As we sojourned in the lush and beautiful countryside of Roatan, he familiarized us with everything from the fruit stand to the university to the free hotel (the local jail). He was warm, humorous (not crude), respectful (not dismissive), and an overall joy! As Ron warmly handed us over to the local subject matter experts in Mangrove (Orlando Diaz) and Punta Gorda (El profesor, Mr. Alfred), we were introduced to the warm introduction of confidence and the assurance of safety. They were equally knowledgeable and engaging. The only disappointment was the experience ended. I have visited 20 countries (Africa, South/Central America, and Europe) and multiple states in the US. He is the gold standard for tour guides. My litmus test for all "tour guides" (as I said, he is a "Historian") from this day forward.

First class tour guide. - Chapin is an awesome tour guide. He is also a safe driver. He’s got a great personality and is easy to get along with. I recommend this tour and Chapin highly.

Honeymoon fun! - We did our tour with Allen and it was everything we expected plus more! He was so accommodating and provided transportation from our air bnb round trip. Very professional all around. Kept in contact and also provided us the opportunity to do an ATV tour as well. Prices were very reasonable. The Punta Gorda tour was special for me being of Garifuna descent and learning more about my culture and history. The mangrove tunnel experience was so beautiful! Every person we can in contact with through Allen was very welcoming and very professional. If you come to Roatan and need help with ANY activities Allen is the MAN!!! Thank you so much Allen, can’t wait to visit again!

Chaplin took us around punta gorda for one of the best nights we had on the island! - Punta gorda IS SUCH A COOL PART OF THE ISLAND. Awesome food great drinks and an authentic experience. The locals are so friendly. Great Music 10/10. One of the best nights we had during our two months on roatan. Gotta use Chaplin for this tour. He's the man. Can rent you cars, bikes, line up tours. Great dude!!

Punta Gorda is the best! - Punta Gorda is the first Garifuna community in Central America. Here you can meet the locals and discover their fascinating history of resistance and survival. Great people delicious food and incredible views from the East side of Roatan.

Unforgettable experience - Chapin never misses. Super professional, kind and provides you with an exceptional experience. Every time, I come to Roatan I reach out to the folks at Anderson tours. The trip to Punta Gorda was unforgettable and a must with Chapin. We were able to flow and visit local shops, dance punta and dance in a local reggae club.

Chapin is the best!!!!!!!! - Such an awesome tour. We got to see the native people and how they live, a must see on sundays in punta gorda. Ask for Chapin to take you around, he is the nicest dude ever. Trustworthy and kind. Not just trying to make money but also show people the history of the island and the people. Would definitely go back here.

Chapin’s Customer Service - Our trip was filled with so much adventure. We were absolutely impressed with the level of customer service provided by Chapin. He’s one of the best tour guides in Roatan. We are looking forward to visiting Roatan and the Garifuna Cultural center again this summer as our children enjoyed it. Roatan has so much to offer. Chapin made our experience greath because we felt safe. Thanks once again!

Amazing tour! - The tour was amazing!!! The guide was the best. I LOVED getting to know the history of the island and the chocolates at Mayak Chocolates. Hope to come back soon!!

Terrible tour - This tour was not what I expected, there was really not much interaction with the driver I didn’t get what I paid for we passed through punta Gorda didn’t get to interact with the people first of all I didn’t even know the tour was done when we left that was disappointing. We only stopped for food at a restaurant, the boat part felt rush again no knowledge of what was going on. The diver forgot to take us to the sloth part had to remind him when I got back to my hotel so we had to drive another 10-20 mins back to the sloths I was with my 11 year old child and the experience was not what was advertised. I would not recommend this tour
