This custom private tour is the perfect way to experience Roatan - Booking this private, fully customizable tour with Custom Roatan Adventures was the best way to experience the island of Roatan. There was no rigid schedule or stress about "getting back to the bus." We set our own perfect pace. We enjoyed browsing for souvenirs without feeling rushed, had a fantastic time learning and tasting at the Mayak Chocolate Factory and the rum store, and then finished the day with a few hours at West Bay Beach. While we swam in the ocean, our guide Marvin secured us a great spot at a beach club and watched our belongings, letting us relax. It felt like having a knowledgeable friend show us around. If you want a stress-free, personalized, and unforgettable day tailored exactly to what you want to do, we recommend Custom Roatan Adventures.

Customization for the win! - This was the best excursion we have went on. Since it was customizable we were able to choose exactly what we wanted to do and they made sure that the way we did the excursions we didn’t hit a lot of the rest of the travelers in port that day.

Amazing tour even if you have been to Roatan before - This is a fully customizable tour. We have been to Roatan five times and we still saw new sights. Nesto was an amazing guide. He was very friendly and took us to places we didn’t even know existed. So many great photo opportunities! We will definitely book this excursion again.

Roatan is amazing - Marvin was our tour guide, he was simply amazing. We got to see so much of Roatan and at our own pace. Having some of the local food was the perfect end of the day.

The BEST Tour of Honduras Possible! - My mom, sister, and I did a custom tour with Marvin today, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, Marvin’s communication was above and beyond. He was responsive, thoughtful, and full of helpful advice. His suggestion to bring rain ponchos was spot-on, especially since it’s the rainy season and we had on-and-off rain throughout the day. When we were a little nervous about snorkeling due to the weather, Marvin immediately put us at ease by coming up with a Plan B and Plan C. It was so reassuring to know that no matter what, we were going to have a great day in Honduras. Thankfully, we ended up snorkeling and it was AMAZING! We visited two incredible spots, including one where we followed a guide in the water and saw beautiful coral reefs and marine life. Such a cool experience. After snorkeling, Marvin took us to lunch, which was super yummy, and then we spent some time relaxing at a beach club. The views were beautiful, and it was the perfect way to unwind and soak in the island vibes. Overall, we had an absolutely amazing day. Marvin is fun, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about the island and all the activities. He made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. We loved having just us on the private tour; it was so much better than having a large group of people you don’t know. We will definitely be booking with him again when we return—highly recommend!

Truly the BEST Roatán Tour!!! - Marvin and his family’s company gave us the best and most authentic tour of the entire island of Roatán, Honduras!!! We could not have imagined a better experience for our private and custom tour. He recommended we get off our cruise ship early as soon as we docked, which was great advice since a total of 6 cruise ships were docked on the island that day. He picked us up right outside the port and had a nice air conditioned SUV ready for our family of 4 to hop in and drive to our first stop which was the famous Roatán sign. Marvin took us to a few hidden gems on the island, including his favorite place to get baleadas, a delicious traditional Honduran food. We went everywhere we wanted to go and more, ALWAYS beating the crowds and large tour groups. We chose to do the authentic island tour, monkey and sloth sanctuary, and iguana farm. Visiting the rum and chocolate factories were included in the authentic island tour. Make sure you get all the souvenirs you want at the shop he takes you to as they have unbeatable prices (we wish we bought more stuff there). We loved having Marvin as our tour guide and getting to know him. He is easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable about his home country! Marvin was always willing to take pictures and has all the connections. Whatever you want to do, Marvin and his family will make it happen!!!

Marvin nailed it! - Marvin was incredible. Especially if you’re a cruise ship passenger, we got an amazing glance of all parts of Roatan. We saw breweries, local neighborhoods, shops, restaurants, and more with a local. It is all on your own time which makes it all the better. No being rushed out with a group. 10/10 would recommend. I felt safe on the entire island.

Unforgettable & unmatched excursion!! - Our custom excursion in Roatán was absolutely beyond amazing! From the moment we were picked up, we knew we were in great hands. M&M was professional, friendly, and genuinely passionate about showing us only the best of the island. We didn’t want a cookie-cutter tour, and Custom Roatán Adventures delivered exactly what we were hoping for — a personalized experience that matched our interests perfectly. They asked what kind of day we wanted and created the ideal balance of adventure, relaxation, and local culture. We explored hidden beaches, snorkeled in crystal-clear waters teeming with colorful fish, and even swam with pigs. 2 cruises so far, BEST EXCURSION! - In one sentence: GIVE THEM A TRY! We travelled on MSC World America, and out of 4 ports, this was the best excursion! I had communicated with Marvin before the trip, came up with a complete plan on what we wanted to see, and sent it. He provided feedback and planned it out accordingly prior to our arrival. My wife wanted to visit a school as she's a teacher, so I had included that too. Marvin made everything happen - Monkeys and Sloths, island tour, snorkeling, chocolate factory and then visiting a school and local markets. We basically saw all of Roatan in one day, making the most out of every minute. If we had done a shore excursion from the ship, a school visit wouldn't have been possible, and we would've had to sacrifice at least one of the activities. One price to fit all activities, no time limit and personalized service touring with a local has been the best way for us to visit ports when cruising, and Marvin made our visit to Roatan memorable! Highly recommended - look no further!
