Jason was a great guide! - Jason was a fantastic guide today! We saw so much of the island and he had a wealth of knowledge about the history and culture. He knew the spots to go to, knew people at each stop and really made our day a personal tour. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Roatan.

Great Roatan adventure during cruise stop - We had a great time with Jayson as our driver. He met us near the cruise ship, and we walked to their vehicle. He then drove us to the animal sanctuary and also to the zip lining course that we added to our adventure. Jayson was very patient with all of us and gave us lots of information about the local culture and geography. He took us to both very local non-touristy areas as well as the tourist areas that we requested. He took us to a great lookout point where we had wonderful views and also a few local crafts people. We really enjoyed the food at the local restaurant that he took us to as well as the small chocolate shop. The zip line adventure was perfect for us, but did require some hiking and stair steps. It rained lightly in the morning while we were zip lining which only added to the tropical adventure. We highly recommend Jayson and Dani’s tour group.

Awesome private guide with excellent photo ops. - We had a private driver who took us safely to our destinations and was there to take us on to our next location and back to the ship. She was kind and even provided wipes and an umbrella when needed. Sadly most of the animals that we saw at the sanctuary were in large cages. We were able to hold a monkey (not caged) and a Mccaw. We were even able to get some excellent selfies with a sloth (no touching though). The Mayan Eden sanctuary was like a small zoo in a poor country. The chocolate factory was interesting, as well. Overall it was a great experience and it was awesome to have a private guide.

These are the good guys! they really deliver. - This is a *great* group to adventure with. Dani (manager) is super helpful and really responsive. Our tour guide (Billy) was exactly what you hope for when signing up for a local tour guide: he knows all the tourism stuff, but also knows all the 'extra' bits, that add colour to a trip. We had a super afternoon- just the right pace, fun things along the way. It is very low-key, so don't come expecting flashing llights and big-scale commercial stops. You will get a sense of the scale and feel of the island, meet people who do what they do because they love it, and see past the tourist strip sections of Roatan.

Wonderful private tour - sloths, butterflies, monkeys, birds, iguanas, chocolate! - Dani was an amazing tour guide! He got us everywhere safely. We did a private tour (the wives) while the husbands went zip lining. We went to the sloth and monkey sanctuary, the iguana sanctuary, and the chocolate factory with great local shopping at each location.

Great experience with expert tour guide - Absolutely great tour given by Orlando. He was very knowledgeable about the island and drove us safely and expertly around Roatan’s hilly terrain. Mayan Eden was so much fun and the sloths and monkeys were our favorites. After visiting the Chocolate Factory and getting some ice cream, Orlando took us to a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful overlook and great food. Thank you RTGA!!!

Great stop on Roatan - We had a great time on this excursion! Our driver Lisbeth was wonderful and didn’t just drive us to the sanctuary but brought us to a great spot for pics! She also offered additional stops if we wanted. She was very knowledgeable about the island and gave us great info on the way to & from the sanctuary (she waited for us so no delays making our way back.) the sanctuary was great - we got to take pictures with a sloth (no holding allowed), feed monkeys, see butterflies & beautiful birds!

10/10 Highly Recommend!!! - Let me preface this review by saying that we had a private tour with the party of 12. Catering to the individual needs of a group that big can be very challenging. First, the tour provider; This tour provider was amazing!!! They far exceeded our expectations in both their customer service and attention to detail. Our tour guide Darby was especially memorable. Her and our driver went out of their way to make sure that our needs were met. Even without being asked she was able to tell where a potential problem could have lied and made adjustments to fix that problem immediately. She made us feel valued as customers and provided an experience that was truly one-of-a-kind. If the tour provider owner is reading this, Darby is definitely a staff member you wouldn’t want to lose!!! As for the animal sanctuary; It was wonderful and exceeded my expectations. The capuchin monkeys were a highlight of the experience. I loved that it was a sanctuary with free roaming animals that interacted with you opposed to a zoo like feel where you had to go into cages for interactions. Our tour guide at the sanctuary was knowledgeable, informative, and brought a sense of fun and intimacy to the interaction. As for the West Bay Beach; It was simply amazing! The turquoise waters and white sand beaches were perfect. The resort pool was beautiful situated near the beach and under a jungle canopy. He was very tranquil and a perfect experience for our group that love to just lay and read in the shade. We had a personalized weight staff who was on top of our every need constantly. Even though the drink and food prices seem reasonable, I would expect to pay at least $200.00 per couple for an afternoon of drinking and eating. Overall, this was an amazing one of a kind experience that I would highly recommend for any group of any size.
