An amazing experience - Great places and amazing views especially up on the tower. Some many butterflies and tree types that look phenomenal. Unfortunately though there's some many spiders which I wasn't a fan of.

A beautiful, informative and fun experience for all ages - I'm so happy I decided to visit the Daintree Discovery Centre - again! It is always so enjoyable and worthwhile for a close-up and informative experience of the amazing, unique and beautiful Daintree rainforest. My first visit was over twenty years ago and I have returned over the years to see the rainforest and the interpretive attractions develop. Everyone can enjoy the centre: I used to bring my children here and there is plenty to interest families. The canopy tower is fun to climb up, with easy stages and viewing platforms at various heights until you are looking down at the canopy. You can also see the research monitoring equipment, which includes a 360 degree camera view at ground level. You can operate this with a joystick if you don't fancy the tower climb. A wooden lounger under a massive strangler fig lets you lie down, look up and see the forest from the ground-level point of view. The multi-language audio guide is included in the entry fee and includes a channel with a Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal guide for an Indigenous perspective. There are clear and interesting information signs along the boardwalks and in the interpretive centre. I always learn something new! The staff are always friendly and helpful, some have worked here for more years than I've been visiting, so they have a deep experience and knowledge of the forest.

I was awestruck by the beauty of this place. The best way to discover the stunning Daintree rainforest. - Awesome. This is how to visit a rainforest. Beautiful walks from forest floor to treetops with stunning views everywhere you look. And all the info you could want from booklets to audio guides. Nice cafe, cute fluffy things in the gift shop to take back to nieces and nephews, and friendly staff. An absolute must.

Fantastic experience - very wheelchair friendly - Fantastic experience. We thought it was just an info centre but were pleasantly surprised to discover an amazing boardwalk experience. I get around in a wheelchair and I could get most places. Those places I couldn't get to, there was a 360° virtual tour experience. The handheld that gave you commentary as you walked around was great - very informative. Definitely worth the so if you're up that way.

Daintree Discovery Centre is a good way to learn about the area - The Centre is an informative and interesting way to learn about the area through both indoor and outdoor experiences. The walkways are carefully set up through a small wooded area and climbing the stairs up to the top of the "tower" affords a special view in and over the canopy. It took us about an hour and a half to do most things, including the walkways, tower, and indoor learning centre, and was a good stop on our way further north.

Fill your brain with fun rainforest facts! - We went mid morning while it was drizzling. The walks were great, albeit a bit slippery in the wet, but it’s a walk you can take your time with to learn about everything. The canopy walk was worth the steps, even with the drizzle was a great view. My information speaker wasn’t working unfortunately but I just read the info book to correlate. Other than the animals that are kept on site didn’t see any on the walk, but a very informative, at your own pace vibe which was good. You do have to cross on the Daintree ferry to get here so keep that in mind if you’re budget conscious.

Daintree Discovery - This place is a gold start to the Daintree, provides a good introduction to what is on offer. It's very well done, and the staff is very friendly. The boardwalk is interesting, and the displays and audio guide help. A big plus for the multi-day entry.

Get a taste of the rainforest. - A good place to learn about the Daintree and its flora, fauna and cultural significance. The self guided audio tour is a great idea and the elevated walk is a fun way to get a taste of the rainforest. There are a lot of steps so it wouldn’t suit people with limited mobility. Overall it was a good experience but quite expensive.

Go and do it! - If for nothing else than climbing the tower this is an essential visit. Getting above the Canopy and being able to see where the action is in the forest is worth everything. Good displays and I enjoyed the audio stations as well as the guide book. There is a lot to do here and to absorb.
