- Framwellgate Bridge - The city’s oldest bridge offers a stunning view of Durham Castle and Cathedral. Here, we will delve into the history of the Castle and the renowned Prince Bishops of Durham before enjoying a scenic riverside walk to our next destination. The walk to the next stop will take approximately 5 minutes.
- Prebends Bridge - On the way to Prebends Bridge, we will explore the city’s mills and riverbanks, taking in breathtaking views of the Cathedral from Prebends Bridge.
- St Cuthbert’s Society • Durham University - As we head to the South Bailey, we will encounter the medieval city wall and explore the historic rivalry with the Scots before entering the Bailey, home to Durham University.
