A very good time! - Great fun and you’re going to learn about Irish music as well as see it in action. Booked this because we needed to stay awake after arrival in Dublin . It did that and more.

Awesome time, appreciated by our older kids! - We did this on our first trip to Dublin in 2015 and when we returned in March 2026 it was on our list of things to do again. We were thrilled to find out that Booster, who was our guide eleven years ago is still there and happened to be our musician again! He's hilarious and immensely talented and brings the Irish music experience alive through story and song. If you are going to Dublin, I recommend doing this on one of your first nights because Booster and Ian gave us some great tips on which pubs were hosting authentic Irish sessions that week. Another tip - we came early so we could eat at the Ha'penny Inn and the food wasn't great. I recommend eating elsewhere or waiting until after the tour.

Awesome guide and Trad Irish music - Neil is awesome. A knowledgeable musician and historian, entertaining and charming and super attentive. He exposed us to ‘trad’ Irish music at three very authentic Dublin pubs and managed to keep 3 exhausted travelers awake and entertained. I would not hesitate to recommend his tour.

If nothing else, take THIS tour! - This was my favorite tour out of all of them. To see the traditional music in person was a beautiful experience. It was a small group, and our tour guide was wonderful. I loved being out of the touristy temple bar area and listening to real Irish music. I highly recommend!

A Memorable Irish Evening! - Exceptionally talented Kevin (fiddle) and Booster (guitar) regaled us for over 3 hours with a variety of traditional Irish jigs, reels and tearful love songs, embellished by Irish tall tales and the poignt history of the Emerald Isle. There were visitors from 6 different countries the evening we went, and we all joined in the laughter and singing of "Johnny Jump Up" with great encouragement from Booster and Kevin!! The seating arrangements were a first come better seating style, so my suggestion would be to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the designated start time. It was a memorable evening, and the Irish music will stay in your heart for years...the best kind of souvenir!!!!
