The celebration of myth. - Mandatory visit to the old factory transformed into a multi-storey museum celebrating the myth of Irish beer par excellence: Guinness; starting from the story of the 4 basic ingredients, moving on to the production phases, then to the history of the brewing family, to the wonderful advertisements, to finally get to the Gravity bar, from where you can look down on a gloomy Dublin, sipping a Guinness. Not to be missed.

Guinness Storehouse VIP Experience - An incredible experience overall — but be prepared! The tour is very popular, with big crowds and a fast-paced guide, so it can feel a little rushed at times. The VIP treatment adds polish, but it’s still a bustling environment, especially once you reach the Gravity Bar (which had no seating available when we arrived).
The meal included was genuinely lovely, beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the gift shop at the end was a lot of fun — easy to lose track of time browsing.
In short: a must-do Dublin experience, but go in knowing it’s high energy, crowded, and best enjoyed with patience and a pint in hand.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory… but with beer! - Yep, it was amazing!
I’d like to be all alternative and grumpy and really critical… but it was Disneyland for adults. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but with beer.
The whole experience was amazing. Like the best bits of a VIP tour at Universal Studios. Fascinating and fun in equal measure. The highlight was having a pint of Guinness created with our photo on the head.
If you’re vegan, the food options are great. Two vegan sausage rolls with delicious chutney is €4.30. They have a great roasted veg sandwich too. All the staff are lovely and, yeah, it was just very, very special.

Guinness fun. - No cheap tickets but they were definitely worth their money.
The imposing high storage tower of the old brewery has been masterfully converted into an audio visual museum where everything from how beer brewing works is covered.
You must register in your time block but can do this tour at your own pace.
The visit ends in higher atmospheres because you arrive at the top of the tower in the tasting rooms and you can then taste real Guinness and end up in Valhalla.

Nitrogen-Powered ;) - A fantastic experience for the whole family, from curious children to malt drink lovers. The warehouse is an architectural wonder and a fitting tribute to Sir Arthur Guinness, where we can learn a lot about the making of the most famous Stout in the world, enjoy good live Irish music and dance, and of course, enjoy a Guinness at the Gravity Bar, with a 360° panoramic view over Dublin. Worth every penny!

My Goodness, My Guinness - Wow! What a tour. I would certainly recommend to anyone that is in Dublin.
We started off with a small talk about the factory and the humble beginnings of Guinness. There is no tour guide but you can explore the various parts of the storehouse at your own leisure. There are some very informative displays and interactive parts. We entered a room and were taught the correct way to taste a Guinness and were given a third of a pint sample. We then carried on through the tour learning a lot about the brewing process.
We were also given the opportunity to pour our own pint of Guinness. The lady taught us the best way to pour and optimum time to let settle before topping up. (See pictures for our attempts - mine is middle right). We then had time to drink our pint in the bar area and then carry on with the tour.
We went upstairs to an area that played live music and it was lively inside which I thought was a great touch to add in.
We proceeded on to the roof top bar for views across Dublin, you could see all sorts of landmarks and we were also treat to another pint that was pulled for us.
Absolutely outstanding place to visit.

Embrace the journey! - 25 years since I was at the Guinness Brewery tour- and boy how it’s changed! I can see why they have abandoned the ‘look at the huge machinery with very few people’ tour of the actual brewery. This is a journey and experience. We got there at 9.45 - still busy- but when we left around 1.30 it was heaving- so go early if you can. Loved the interactive journey through to the ‘ head’ - the Gravity bar. The Gilroy advertising area was our favourite.
If you like Disney’ “ It’s a small world “ you will love this! If you like looking at huge vats of part brewed beer- you won’t! Embrace the journey!

Very over-rated for what it is. - My wife had wanted to visit the Guinness factory for almost 50 yrs, and we had never managed it, for various reasons, on our previous three very short visits to Dublin. So for our Golden Wedding Anniversary, we booked 4 nights in Dublin plus the Guinness Experience. As you will guess, from being married for 50 years, we have "been around the block" many times as regards "Experience"-type visits like this, and we have say that it doesn't stack up well against, for example, the Cadbury World Experience in Birmingham, or the Titanic Experience in Belfast. The standard entrance price isn't extortionate, considering how much it must have cost to build it, and it does include the cost of a Pint at the end, but apart from a natty waterfall feature that showed the Harp logo made from water, and a video of how wooden barrels were originally made by hand, we found the rest of the exhibit, quite frankly, pretty boring and repetitive. Even the much-hyped 360° panorama view from the bar at the top seemed largely of industrial buildings and blocks of flats, with the Wicklow Hills in the distance. And, of course, the self-guided tour finishes at the huge Gift Shop, full of, admittedly, decent quality clothing and souvenirs, but at relatively eye-watering prices - €5 for a small block of Guinness-flavoured chocolate: €7 for a keyring; €24 for a T-shirt, for example. We didn't feel "ripped-off" by the visit, just very disappointed that after waiting so many years to visit, it just didn't match the hype for us - we didn't even like the taste of the Guinness, so had a lager instead. And don't even think of taking children there; there's absolutely nothing to interest kids, plus there are lots of stairs and escalators to contend with.

Interesting visit - Booked a visit as it was on the top ten places to visit in Dublin. Got the public bus from College Green. Did the self-guided tour which was fine. Saw the history of the Guiness brand and its importance to Dublin. Best bit was the bar on the 7th floor and the complimentary drink. Views are amazing up there and the Guiness 0.0 was delicious.

Disney land Guinness experience - So disappointed with this experience. It's like a circus of people taking selfies. Everything is computerised and very little of the original items we would've seen there 15 years ago. It actually reminded me of Dublin Airport. Queues of people buying overpriced Guinness merchandise. As a Dub I really didn't enjoy how commercial it has become. If you want a fantastic view of Dublin go to Smithfield Chimney and climb the 250 steps for €5. And there won't be a queue!
