• Dunluce Castle - Perched on a basalt outcrop along the north coast of Antrim, this castle was once the stronghold of Clan MacDonnell, serving as a fortress against invaders from both land and sea during the medieval era. Constructed in the 13th century, this fortification has witnessed significant events in Irish history, with influences from Viking, Christian, and British eras. Visitors can marvel at its rugged beauty set against the Northern Atlantic Ocean, where the castle stands watch. The castle is steeped in haunting tales of crumbling walls and eerie ghosts. Recently, it was featured in the Game of Thrones TV series as the great Pyke, the castle and seat of House Greyjoy. Dunluce also inspired C.S. Lewis in his depiction of Cair Paravel in Narnia and appeared in Jackie Chan’s movie ‘The Medallion.’ Dunluce might be the first stop of the day, but it could be an unforgettable experience!

• Giant’s Causeway -
  Discover the heart of Ireland’s ancient mythological landscape at the otherworldly Giant’s Causeway. Walk among the towering pillars of what was once an epic bridge to Scotland, constructed by the legendary Finn McCool! Legend has it that this bridge extended all the way to Scotland, built by Finn during a feud with a fierce Scottish giant. Some claim that ‘Nature doesn’t work in straight lines,’ but those who do have never visited the Giant’s Causeway. This area boasts over 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, most of which are hexagonal with up to eight sides. This breathtaking landscape appears to be crafted by a giant’s hand, yet it was entirely formed naturally by the slow cooling of lava from an eruption millions of years ago. Recognized as one of nature’s wonders.

• The Dark Hedges -
  The Dark Hedges, our third stop of the day, attracts visitors from around the globe. Known as one of Ireland’s most iconic roads, this avenue leads to Gracehill House, built around 1775. James Stuart, who constructed the new home, also created the road and planted the beech trees that now arch over the road, forming an atmospheric tunnel filled with the creaking of beams and dappled light filtering through the canopy above. The Dark Hedges can be a spooky experience, as they are said to be haunted by a mysterious ghost known as The Grey Lady. The Dark Hedges gained worldwide fame by being featured in Game of Thrones as the King’s Road. It’s not all fantasy here, as they were also featured in the 2017 movie Transformers: The Last Knight. Whether it’s Autobots, ghosts, King Robert Baratheon, or simply the chance to stroll down this beautiful avenue, The Dark Hedges offers what you seek.

• City Hall - Belfast, the capital city of Northern Ireland, was once known as ‘Linenopolis’ and ‘Old Smoke’ due to its significant role in the industrial history of this region. As the second-largest city on the island, visitors will be dropped off right in the heart of it by City Hall. Explore City Hall, spot the lantern atop its 173 ft (53 m) dome, and learn about its reconstruction after the Belfast Blitz during World War II. Belfast is a city of convergence, where the diverse facets of Ireland can be found. It is unlike any other city on the island, offering a unique place to explore and experience. From shipbuilding to the complex history of The Troubles, there is much history to discover here in stone, iron, and in the people who reside there.
