Got my best photo of the trip on this tour - Now this is a road trip! Driving up to Belfast was an absolute joy that felt like it flew by on the road. Our tour guide and driver, Shane kept us very well entertained the whole time. We took a stop off to see some old monastery ruins that were magnificent in the sunrise. When we first got there, there was also a beautiful rainbow. The timing couldn’t have been better. A bathroom break later and we arrived in Belfast. Perfectly executed. When we got into Belfast, Shane told us that due to local rules. he couldn’t do a tour himself so they offer to connect you with the black cab tours. Which is pretty famous in the area. I opted to do it, and while it was super interesting, I don’t know if it was worth the €30 necessarily? Depends on how interested in history you are I guess? We stopped and looked at it quite a few murals that were very well executed. We also saw the giant wall that still stands in Belfast separating the two main religions. I think that was the most interesting part of the tour. Other than that, it’s a great way to see little parts of the town that you wouldn’t normally see. So take that as you will. After we got dropped off by the black cab tour, we had about an hour to ourselves to walk around. I opted to go geocaching, which was a perfect way to spend my hour. There were quite a few caches in a nice big circle around the central area of the city where we were dropped off and picked up. I got to see a lot of great sites on foot as well as enjoy the search. When we got back on the bus, we headed out to the Titanic museum. Shane was back at it giving us awesome fun facts about what we were about to see and got us all settled in. The museum itself is incredible. Lots of history stuffed into that building! I remember specifically two parts that choked me up a little bit. Because I had mentioned I was a Game of Thrones fan, Shane also made sure to point out the stain glass windows that you could go to for photos. I’m so glad that he did that because after the Titanic tour, I basically ran to the stained glass to get my photos! The drive back was simple. We dropped off a few folks in town and then headed to the highway. Another little bathroom stopped later and we were back in town just in time for dinner! Overall, a great day trip to her! Definitely worth the cost and time. Patty wagon tours is famous for a reason!

Great tour, super guide and driver. - I give this tour a huge👍 and it was made even better by our tour guide (Quiggs) and driver (Dass) Quiggs gave us tons of Irish history, plenty of jokes and some great Irish music. As if that wasn't enough he gave us a few tunes on a flute like instrument. A day brimming with facts, entertainment and scenery, what more can you ask for. Quiggs was great with everyone on the coach, making sure we were all ok and that was great because we were older than most at 77 and 80. Top marks Quiggs & Dass.

Superb day - Our driver Shea was excellent. Great commentary along the way. And excellent knowledge. And full credit to his exceptional driving in very adverse weather conditions (Storm Amy!) As for the Titanic museum, again, absolutely amazing. We also did the black cab tour. Fred was our driver - really great knowledge.

GREAT TOUR - HIGHLIGHT OF OUR STAY - This tour was fabulous - one of the highlights of our stay in Dublin. Driver/Guide was very informative and helpful. We decided to take up their offer of the add-on to see where "the troubles" used to be in the Shankhill Road area. This had to be done in a black taxi as our bus was green and it was not appropriate for it to be seen in this area. It was certainly an eye opener - we learnt things that we didn't know about the years gone by. We did not have that much time to explore the Belfast city area before the bus came to collect us for our Titanic Museum visit. This was very good and well organised. The way the museum has been built and showcased is brilliant. It focuses mainly on the building of the Titanic and what the workers went through during the building process. It even has sound effects of what would have been there during the building stages. Whoever designed it was very smart. The items in the souvenir shop at the end of the tour were quite expensive, I would love to have bought a couple of things, but the price for what you got was ridiculous. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see a little bit of Belfast.
