The Beauty of Ireland Combined with Storytelling - What a fantastic day. The Cliffs of Moher were majestic and Galway was fantastic. The weather cooperated, making the experience just perfect. But, it would not have been the same without the storytelling of our guide Dave and our driver Leo. Dave brought 17 centuries of Irish history to life. I felt like I was sitting in the pages of a famous Irish novel. He truly loves his country, his city and his job and it shows. Dave’s recommendations were all on point. Don’t miss the fish chowder at Kings Head in Galway. Not sure if you can if Wild Rover Tours and Viator permit will allow you to request a specific guide, but if they will, I would make sure to request to ride with Dave. We will definitely be back to Dublin.

A good day for a good day - Our tour was great, despite the rainy weather (not unexpected). David and Pete kept us going and educated us along the way. Pit stops were well planned and we were given expectations of timing to each stop, as well as time at each stop. A well oiled machine.

Good - It was a very early start, wish they did hotel pick up, we travelled to the city for the pick up. The overall day was good, the only downer was we didn’t have a choice of where to sit as the driver told us where we should sit. The tourguide Eve was funny and had knowledge on the history of the country. Very restricted on time though, wanted to spend more time in Galway, but it was more a taster- so know where to go next time! Cliffs of Moher was amazing as well and the Wild Atlantic way was nice, but we didn’t have a proper view as we were on the right side of the bus.

Long day - You really get a sense of how beautiful Ireland. You need more time in Galway and less time at the cliffs. The tour company should maybe make clear how windy the trip is as people with motion sickness should not do this trip we had people throwing up the majority of the trip so not a good experience

Have to be lucky to see the cliffs - Unfortunately had a cloudy day, didn’t see anything. Galway is a nice small town. Some nice scenic views

Cliffs are beautiful could skip Galway - Cliff of Moher was beautiful to see and you have enough time at the sight. Might remind people its colder and windy so layer clothes. The stop at Galway was a waste too much time and not much to see just finding a place to eat. That should be described in the tour so you don't expect much. Plus bus should open up earlier because it was so crowded we just had to sit on a street corner waiting to get back on bus. We had already eaten and was bored.

A Loyal Customer Let Down and discriminated against - I’ve traveled with Wild Rover Tours four times in the past and always had wonderful experiences. As a former travel agent and a world traveler I’ve recommended them to countless others and even written glowing reviews in the past. Sadly, after my most recent tour on I can no longer do so in good conscience. I suffer from motion sickness, and as I’ve done before, I requested front row seating months in advance, not as a preference, but as a medical necessity. I was told my request was noted . I was the first person in line that morning and politely reminded the staff of my condition. I was told the seats were reserved, which I assumed meant for passengers with mobility issues, which of course takes priority and is completely understandable. However, once everyone boarded, the signs were casually removed and the front-row seats were handed out to guests who arrived just before departure and boarded last, had no visible needs, and even joked about being VIPs. Meanwhile, I was told I could not sit there not because someone else needed the seat, but due to a blanket policy that explicitly discriminates and excludes people with motion sickness from front seating. Apparently, some passengers became ill there in the past, so now no one with motion sickness is allowed to sit in the front , regardless of their individual circumstances or how that simple accommodation would make a world of difference for one of their customers. Instead of being treated with care or understanding, I was handed a vomit bag in case I become ill. Yes , that was their solution. To make matters worse, I brought two friends with me on this trip, after raving to them about Wild Rover’s exceptional service and professionalism. It was embarrassing to feel brushed aside in front of them after having spoken so highly of the company. The company’s follow-up response was a scripted sounding wall of excuses defending their policy and completely ignoring the inconsistency in how it was applied. I’ve sat in the front row on four previous tours with no issue , now suddenly I’m told it’s forbidden. There was no compassion, no accountability, and no gesture to make things right. If you have any kind of medical condition especially one that isn’t outwardly visible be very cautious before booking. What used to be a tour company I confidently recommended has now become one I unfortunately have to warn others about. ---

Not worthy of your time (and money) - When I booked this tour together with my sister we were expecting what was promised in the advertisement. Only we didn't know it was misleading, you see the castles from the bus (if you happen to be in the right side of the bus, of course). We were given one ticket for the cliffs of moher which to this moment we keep wondering what was it for as Yvonne didn't mention it at any moment. And it is not because she (the tour guide) didn't talk, because she does, a lot, but nothing relevant appart from where you can find the toilets or take some good pints. I wish this was a joke. But the true joke was the "tour" in Galway, 15 minutes in which she mentioned the story of ONE building in the whole village and (again) where to eat. Also, given the fact that the bus ride is 6 hours you would expect a better WiFi than the really poor one that is available. And theorically, 6 hours because it took as 4 to reach only the Cliffs of Moher when it is supposed to be something more than 3 hours, a phenomenom that I am still trying to understand. To sum up the way we feel, it is trully sad to book a tour like this so happily and to end with such a bitter taste of the tour and the guide, because you can feel that the only thing they care about is making money and not making the trip special for the group.

Not worth the money - I would not recommend it. This was probably the worst tour I did while I was in Dublin. They mentioned you could get pictures of what they took, but I never received them. When we got to Galway, the tour guide did a “city tour,” which included walking past three places and didn't really learn anything about the city. I would say go with a different company, or if possible, you can visit these places on your own.
