Tour to Cliffs of Moher - This tour was great! We saw the Cliffs at Moher from the walking path and a boat ride. We loved the stop at the castle and the history learned. Our tour guide, Jimmy, was amazing. He’s full of facts and fun conversations. The ease of having a driver to get us around made the day so much more enjoyable. What a great Ireland experience.

Iconic Ireland - Be aware--this tour crosses from one coast to the other in Dublin, so it is a loooong day, although being on a van versus a tourist bus was helpful. (Be prepared, the weather was warm and sunny--yes, we got lucky--but it was freezing on the bus so we needed our coats after all.) We appreciated getting to see the Cliffs of Moher without having to book a car and try driving on the "other side of the road." And the cliffs are beautiful to see, well worth the visit. Also worthwhile was the ice cream for sale in a booth past the cliff tower--delicious! For me, the surprise of the trip was our stop at Bunratty Castle. I had not expected much, perhaps a wander through some ruins. But, in fact, this castle, while small, was in reasonably good shape. It was easy to imagine how life at the castle might have been back in the day. There are several twists and turns, and some negotiation was needed to get up the narrow stairways with other tourists coming down, but well worth it. Additionally, the entire village has been restored here, so we got to see small residences, the school building, and much more. Again, this was a long day, but it was worth the trip!

Best Way to See Lots of Ireland - Seeing the Irish countryside was my favorite part of our long trip and that might not have been the case without Kieran’s excellent guidance. From airport pickup in Dublin, to Cong and Galway, then Cliffs of Moher and Killarney, to Blarney Castle and back to Dublin. It was such an easy way to see so many different parts of such a beautiful country. Kieran was knowledgeable and funny and had the best recommendations at each city we stopped in. He made me want to keep learning about Ireland and recommended great films to encourage our curiosity.

The Best Option for a Private Tour from Dublin to the Burren & Cliffs of Moher! - We were extremely pleased with the private (2 people) day tour that we booked from Dublin to the Burren and Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs are profoundly amazing even when the weather is crap which is was – we spent 2 wonderful hours there getting pelted by rain! We think took many people view the Burren as warmup act for the Cliffs but they are a headliner in an of themselves! Our guide, Richie, was great! He’s an excellent driver and absolute gentleman who customized the trip to give us plenty of time to take in the amazing, breathtaking scenery. The vehicle was posh and comfy. Our guide Richie gave us space to enjoy the sites on our own but was also at ease on the drive, chatting about Irish history, the local geography, and current events. Because a private tour was a big splurge for us, we researched over a dozen options. We settled on Elegant Irish Tours based on itinerary, cost, responsiveness to email inquiry and Tripadvisor reviews. We picked right and loved our tour!

Small hiccups, excellent over-all - We LOVED the tour. Allen, our driver, was funny and engaging. He was highly professional, handling a very diverse group of 12 strangers with professionalism. The sites we saw were truly epic. The Cliffs of Moher were, of course, of course, breath-taking! The o ly reason I didn't give the trip a full 5 star rating was that there were unclear instructions on the ticket. There were 2 separate groups that ended up at the pick up spot over an hour early because of it. Clear up the instructions and it will be perfect! I would highly recommend this tour.

Bad communication - Cancelled trip with no notification. Terrible communication. Left us standing in the front of hotel waiting. Notification was buried and hard to find.

They Canceled on us Last Minute! - This company canceled on us last minute, left us completely stranded. The cancellation was so late that we could not even book another tour in the time allotted and ruined our entire itinerary. Considering we are tourist and have limited time it is very inconsiderate to cancel last minute. Please read other reviews. We were not the only ones with a poor review of this company. Consider this when booking with this company.
