Perfect tour guide – An unforgettable Ecuador experience with Pedro Toaquiza! - Our tour with Pedro Toaquiza was just incredible! From the very first minute, he inspired us with his friendly nature, deep knowledge and passion for Ecuador.
Pedro is not only very familiar with the history, culture and nature of the country, but also knows exactly how to make a tour an unforgettable experience. He took us to breathtaking places, told exciting stories and showed us insider tips we would never have found on our own.
His organization was perfect, he was always punctual, attentive and took wonderful care of our group. We were particularly impressed by his respect for local culture and nature – it was not just a trip, but a real connection with Ecuador.

Amazing day out of Quito - Great tour! You get to see a lot of land and people and our guide Pedro gave us a lot of insight into life in Ecuador with his incredible knowledge. He gave us a lot of time at the individual stops and was very entertaining! Can only recommend!

Bad experience with Quito Trips in our Otavalo Market one day trip - The overall experience was one of unprofessionalism and underwhelming experience.
When we met our guide named Andres C. and driver named Santiago, we were immediately concern about the lack of professional attire and their readiness for our day trip. Andres informed us that the driver was a professional driver which could have not been more than a lie. Our driver consistently drove at more than the allowed speed limit. The roads we traveled were very curvy and had a lot of sharp curves which demanded a greater level of safety, but the cautionary signs of "reduced speed" were not observed, to the point that we needed to yell to "please slowdown". The question we have is if Quito Trip company actually bets the drivers and guides, because after 40 years of travels, we have not felt so unsafe and scared in a car.
The vehicle should have been ready for the trip but instead we stopped for gas at the beginning of our trip.
In the middle of the trip the guide Andres informed us that he is changing the scheduled sequence of the tour, to which we said No and that we want to keep the agreed-on sequence of the tour.
Due to concerns of the driving and lack of engagement from our guide we informed them that we will skip the visit to Cotacachi and return to Quito.
Quito-Trips should have done a better job of providing an experienced driver and guide that care about the safety and the expectations of the travelers.
Based on this poor experience, we will never recommend Quito Trips
