Airport transfer - Our flight was delayed from Newark. Our driver waited for us and made the lengthy drive to La Fortuna the best experience that it could be. He stopped for dinner and bottled water. He was extremely understanding when the windy roads made most of us car sick.

Our family trip to Costa Rica - Carlos at La Fortuna expeditions was wonderful in helping us plan our trip! Alfredo drove us to and from the airport and La Fortuna! He was so nice and friendly! The van was clean and comfortable. He even took us to a wonderful breakfast place since we were starved ! He really made our first and last hours in La Fortuna memorable! Carlos then helped us plan our ATV experience, the Safari Float and our Zip Lining. I would highly recommend all the activities - the Safari Float was one of my families favorite! It was so beautiful and relaxing ! We got to see a lot of wildlife as well. The transfers to and from the activities were so easy ! I also liked that Carlos answered any questions that I had in a very timely manner and also made suggestions on what was feasible in terms of driving around the area as we did have a car as well. I would highly recommend La Fortuna expeditions for all your needs !

Wonderful driver! Highly Recommend! - The driver was on time and ensured we had everything we needed. We arrived on time and he even stopped for a bathroom/snack break. Communication was great and the vehicle was extremely comfortable.

Great ride, super convenient - This was definitely the way to travel from San Jose to La Fortuna. The vehicle was nice and well air conditioned, and the driver was very friendly. We got to see a lot of great terrain and views along the way. Much easier than driving!

Excellent Service - Richard was waiting for me as I got out of baggage claim with signage with my name. He was professional, polite and got me to my destination safely. I will definitely use Fortuna Expeditions again. My only regret is that because I was unwell, I took medication that made me drowsy and forgot to tip. Nevertheles, I definitely recommend.

Don’t drive! Take the shuttle! - Traffic out of San Jose was intense! We were very glad to have booked the shuttle. It was interesting to see more of the land and Richard was a great driver. The rest stop at the little shop was a nice break.
