• Province of Puntarenas - Your guide will meet you at your hotel before your chosen morning or afternoon departure time to take you to a private reserve and adventure park, just a short distance from downtown Monteverde. The tour starts in the primary, ancient section of the cloud forest and transitions to the newer secondary forest, providing a comprehensive view of the forest’s life cycles. Begin your journey with an exhilarating zipline tour over the canopy, offering breathtaking views of the cloud forest below. Next, rappel 150 feet down to the forest floor. A ladder system through the hollow core of an old tree will bring you back up into the treetops, and an optional Tarzan swing free-fall experience will take you back down. Guides will accompany you throughout the adventure to ensure your safety and enjoyment, as well as to answer any questions about the local ecosystem. At the end of your adventure, you will be dropped off back at your hotel or another specified location in Monteverde.
