The initial part of the trail is exceptionally scenic, leading to one of the park’s most impressive features: steam vents, also known as fumaroles. These appear as significant holes in the ground, consistently emitting steam, producing peculiar gurgling sounds, and releasing a distinctive sulfur smell.
You will encounter white-faced monkeys, spider monkeys, howler monkeys, and a variety of birds.

Oropendola Warterfall - The journey to La Oropendola Waterfall continues with a short walk from the national park entrance, navigating diverse terrain until you reach the river. Moving a brief distance within the river itself, the path leads to the awe-inspiring La Oropendola waterfall.
Standing at an impressive 25 meters, it gracefully descends into a bubbling turquoise pool within the vibrant canyon of the Blanco River, forming an extraordinary tropical oasis.
