Volcano Vibe - Volcano was amazing. Arrived after 10:00am so was a little cloudy, but we were able to take great pictures. It was great being that close to a volcano.

Unforgettable Experience with an Amazing Tour Company - We had an incredible time with this tour! From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully organized and delivered with care. We visited beautiful gardens and waterfalls, followed by a scenic trip to Poás Volcano. Although it was cloudy, the atmosphere made it a unique and memorable experience. The Doka Coffee Tour was another highlight—informative, engaging, and truly enjoyable. Our guide was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. He even accommodated our request to be dropped off in a different city than our original pickup point, which we really appreciated. The authentic Costa Rican lunch included in the tour was delicious and added a special touch to the day. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a well-rounded, enriching, and unforgettable experience!

Wildlife, volcanoes, waterfalls and coffee in a single day! - I was lucky to meet AyE Tours and guide Johan Esquivel in Costa Rica. In addition to this tour, I also went to the Suspended Bridges. And all the Processing the agency gave me to organize this last tour made me close one more tour with them. I ended up choosing to go to Volcano Poás (I was warned by them that the visibility of the crater, in the low season, may be compromised). The tour was organized to go first on the volcano, as the weather conditions were more favorable. And it was possible to see the crater! I was very happy. Johan helped me arrive at the first available time. From there, we went to the Gardens of the La Paz Waterfall. I wasn't expecting it to be so amazing. The garden houses rescued animals that cannot be reintroduced into the wild and we can see them from close. It's a very cool project! After seeing hundreds of butterflies and birds, we made a short (but intense) trail and saw all the waterfalls. The view is splendid. From there, we went to the Doka Coffee Farm for a tour on coffee production. Very interesting, but I think I'd rather take more advantage of the waterfalls and go to the farm another day. However, I do not regret since my stay in Costa Rica was very short - I only had two whole days to do the tours. Once again, I emphasize that the transfer and the places for breakfast and lunch were very good. AyE Tours and Johan are of very high quality. Super recommend.

Amazing excursion! - The best tour we went on while in Costa Rica! Olsman and Daniel “Jack Daniels group” were amazing! We learned so much about the coffee process, animals, and saw beautiful sights! If you can, I would request Daniel! He is super positive, energetic, and funny. FYI this is a whole day tour. They picked us up from our hotel around 7am and dropped us off around 8pm

Excellent, recommended, by more Guided tourism. - Excellent punctuality service, very friendly and helpful Luis. Very patient with small childrenx99s. Breakfast in a typical beautiful and very complete restaurant. La Paz Falls, worth it, we have lunch there and have variety and good quality. Poás is very easy to reach, and although we are in rainy season we could appreciate it.

Poor View of Volcano/La Paz Worth a Visit/Drive Carefully! - 1st of all I must say that we did NOT take this tour as planned because Viator, the tour operator, CANCELLED it the day before, even though it was booked weeks ago. In fact it was the 2nd tour in Costa Rica I booked with them that they cancelled. DO NOT USE THEM!! Given that the entire reason we left our 1st hotel in the south and came to the San Jose area on our last day before leaving Costa Rica, was to visit those 3 sites, we decided to still do Poas and La Paz on our own (skipped coffee plantation). With the help of our 2nd hotel's concierge, we were able to still get Poas tickets the night before. YOU MUST MAKE AN ONLINE RESERVATION at least one day before! No walk-up entries! Very hard to figure out how to enter the property by car, where to park, and then where to enter. The emailed confirmation/receipt addressed none of that. Be prepared to wait in a long car line - arrive 1 hour before your scheduled entry time. Needs much better signage! Surprisingly, after our experience at 3 other parks, the staff here spoke little to no English. Ultimately I'd say it was just ok, because the volcano is obscured by gasses due to 2019 eruptions, 2nd crater/lagoon not visible for same reason, and nicer? path through the woods closed for same reason. Visitors asked to limit their time on the viewing platform to 20 min. We did know it would be obscured before we went, so it was what it was. It was cool to look *down* on the cloud forest, though. It was a lovely drive up there, countryside/flora looked surprisingly & suddenly very European, even the architecture. From there we went to La Paz Garden (really a small zoo that's part of a resort) and it was suddenly very cloudy and much colder! A light coat or rain jacket would have been helpful. 5 magnificent waterfalls! But A LOT OF CLIMBING, PROBABLY SEVERAL HUNDRED WET, SLIPPERY STAIRS. Do not recommend if you're not wearing grippy-soled shoes, or can't walk well. No way to push a stroller (you can in the zoo part, but not the falls paths & stairs). The zoo, which displays only indigenous birds, butterflies, snakes, frogs, and mammals, supposedly has only rescued animals, former "pets", etc., nothing captured from the wild - though they are breeding/raising some, too. Good exhibits, cool to see sloths, birds, & frogs, that one couldn't see (except through a guide's scope) on other national park tours (certainly not the big cats). Very dangerous/scary driving back down the mountain through the clouds. Imagine the heaviest fog you've ever been in - like a white-out. Overall I'm giving only a 3 star rating because we are so disgusted with Viator, and the falls were obscured.

VERY IRRESPONSIBLE COMPANY - This company is a fraud, we reserved from Mexico, we arrived in Costa Rica and when we arrived to the national parks they did not let the group of tourists to enter. They never gave us our money back!!
