Juan is like a running library full of passion for the plants and wildlife. The best guide we experience in Costa Rica - We got Juan Carlos through a travel blog. We were able to book very spontaneously and he supported us with the organization! The tour was impressive as he shared so much knowledge and perspectives with us and we could see, feel, hear and smell the many peculiarities of a cloud forest about him. A wonderful person, a wonderful tour! Unrestricted recommendation!

Highly recommended guide at Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve - Our guide Juan Carlos at Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve was just fantastic. He took an incredible amount of time for us and patiently responded to each of our questions. We were particularly impressed by how comprehensively he shared his knowledge: From historical backgrounds to physical connections to fascinating biological details, he explained everything in an understandable and exciting way. His friendly, warm nature and palpable enthusiasm for nature have made the tour an unforgettable experience. Thanks to him we not only saw the cloud forest, but really understood it and of course he also mocked some rare animals. Highly recommended – we would book a tour with him again anytime!

Juan Carlos is the best guide to the cloud forest in Monteverde - Juan Carlos can be recommended as a guide for the cloud forest. His enthusiasm for Costa Rican nature literally spills over into one. Has also assisted in the purchase of tickets. Highlight were 5 quetzals spread over the tour.

Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - We became aware of Juan Carlos via Traveloptimizer and contacted him directly via WhatsApp. Even the organization was uncomplicated and very friendly. The tour itself was just great. Juan Carlos is absolutely professional and has an incredible 28 years of experience in the Cloud Forest. You immediately notice how much knowledge and passion he has for the forest and the animals. It was really a great pleasure to walk with him through the cloud forest and learn so much. Great guided tour through the cloud forest - The tour was really great! Juan Carlos led us 3 hours full of vigour through the cloud forest. You can tell how much he cares about the forest and nature. We learned a lot about the cloud forest. Juan Carlos recognizes the birds already by singing and has gone to great lengths to show us as many animals as possible! It is really only recommended to book the tour with him! Very sympathetic and fun guide with a lot of knowledge about the cloud forest.

Quetzal sighting! - Awesome tour by our guide Tio who showed us Quetzal, Monkeys, hummingbirds, and lots of cool plants. Learned so much about each of these, would not have been able to spot on our own. Absolutely recommend!

Incredible tour with an incredible guide - We had a wonderful tour with Juan Carlos today and are so glad we booked him! There were so many animals we would never have spotted ourselves, and he knew many interesting facts about the rainforest and all the plants. We highly recommend booking with him!
