• Irazu Volcano National Park - Guests will be collected from their hotel in San Jose between 7:00 and 7:30 am. They will then travel 12 miles east via the Panamerican Highway to Cartago province.

By 9:30 am, visitors will arrive at Irazu Volcano National Park for a brief walk to the main craters, where they can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Caribbean and Central Valley. A tour guide will provide insights into the area’s history, activities, vegetation, and wildlife. After spending an hour at the volcano viewpoint, the journey will continue to downtown Cartago to visit the main Basilica.

At approximately 11:30 am, the tour will explore Cartago City’s main attractions, including the Los Angeles Basilica. By 12:15 pm, the tour will proceed to the beautiful Orosi Coffee Valley, stopping at a viewpoint for picturesque photos of the region before heading to a restaurant for a delightful lunch.
