We'll meet right at the park front desk and parking lot.
They switch it operating mode, now they offer circuits (loops). Please get the tickets in advance on their website, choose “Heart of the Forest Trail” at 8:00am time slot.
We adjusted our logistics to fit this new (and weird) regulations.

Oscar met us promptly,... - Oscar met us promptly, had great equipment and a lot of knowledge. We spotted tonnes of cool animals and birds and Oscar had an awesome camera attachment to his scope that meant we got some brilliant pictures which he sent to us at the end of the tour. Would definitely book again if we came back.

Great cloud forest tour - Oscar was great. Knowledgeable about fauna and flora. Could call in birds. Has an amazing scope and setup to share high quality photos after the tour.

Although the weather was... - Although the weather was cloudy and rainy it was the perfect time to experience the Cloud Forest. Our tour guides Oscar was very knowledgeable about the cloud forest, the trees, plants, animals & birds. Was nice to have a copy of the pictures that he took with the spotting scope that he sir dropped to us.

Great tour with a lot sights - Oscar was a great guide! He had an easy way of explaining the stuff we saw and he was very friendly. You could feel that he really cared about the nature.

Great guided tour to improve your knowledge of the biodiversity of the Cloud Forest - We spent a lovely morning with Oscar who provided excellent commentary on the flora and fauna in the cloud forest. Oscar was able to point out and describe the birdlife we saw and was very knowledgeable about the history and background of the park.

Most Enjoyable Monteverde Cloud Forest Tour with Oscar - Honestly, you cannot get a better guide than Oscar. He is extremely knowledgeable and has great eyes and ears for spotting wildlife. We joined him for a morning cloud forest tour. He carried a great telescope and camera. Took about 70 amazing pictures of a male and female quetzals, bird nests, trees and a 🐍 and sent them to us at the end of the tour. Thoroughly enjoyable and felt fulfilled.

A highlight - Oscar our guide was so approachable and enthusiastic, dealing with all questions brilliantly for all ages. Excellent knowledge and some great spots on our walk including quetzals, guan, hummingbird birds on a nest and so many trees and flowers. Well worth the fee. Thank you Oscar!!

Saw Quetzal male and female!!! - We saw a Quetzal pair, male and female. They were carrying food to their nest. Absolutely stunning. Oscar took pictures and then downloaded them to all of us. Great tour!
