During the ascent, there will be a stop at a picturesque lagoon where the horses can rest, and participants will have the opportunity to stretch and enjoy the surroundings. As the journey continues, a lookout point will offer stunning views of the Arenal Volcano. Be sure to have a camera ready, as this is a sight worth capturing!

The trail primarily traverses private land and was originally used by Don Tobias, a renowned horse breeder in the Arenal region. The Don Tobias stables are dedicated to the well-being of their horses and strive to provide guests with an unforgettable experience.

It is advisable to bring long pants, a t-shirt, binoculars, a camera, sunscreen, and insect repellent for this tour.

The entire route traverses a private cattle farm on the slopes of the Volcano, passing through pristine creeks, lush primary forests, and pasture lands where you can observe herds of sheep, horses, and cattle.

The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, ascending from the lowest to the highest part of the property to a viewpoint very close to the Volcano. Here, you can see the entire volcano from base to summit and take stunning photographs.
