Nice to have real local to guide you on the tour! - Great “Doc Martin” tour from Dave our guide. One of a few locals that still live in Port Isaac and “starred” in all but 1 of the 10 series of Doc Martin. Very informative tour and history of Port Isaac so would recommend - thank you Dave!

Great Tour - Mike M. the Best! - Wasn't sure what to expect but our family group of 3 was greeted by Mike Meakins and had a wonderful tour. Mike was an extra on the show and was a wealth of knowledge. Also quite engaging. Even my son and I who have never seen an episode were very entertained! Highly recommend!

Great fun, especially if you’re a Dr Martin fan. - The tour was excellent. Mike our tour guide was knowledgeable and had lots of local stories and history to add. I haven’t seen too many Dr Martin episodes but I still found the tour interesting and worthwhile. The views were stunning and great to walk along the cobblestone laneways looking at all the history in the houses.

Excellent day in Port Isaac - Excellent tour guided by Mike who is very knowledgeable of the village and the series as he was involved as a support actor. He showed us the Doc Martin sets, historic parts of Port Isaac and we he took us to places that you wouldn't go otherwise. For instance, we went to see the narrowest road together with a comprehensive explanation why it was there and who made it, just to mention one the interesting locations. All in all very fascinating tour. I would definitely recommend it.

Walking Doc Martin with Dave. - The village of Port Isaac, known to many fans as Portwenn. Walking the cobbled streets and precarious hills feels even more like the beloved fictional location. Our guide for the tour was Dave who is an actual veteran of Portwenn, having served as an extra .His unique position allowed him to turn the walking tour into an insider's view of the production. He didn't just point out landmarks; he weaved together local stories listing all the episodes he'd appeared in. The tour itself was a good exploration of the town's geography as it relates to the show's script. We were guided to all the iconic frontages used in the filming. Standing directly outside Doc Martin's surgery, then walking just a few feet to Mrs. Tishell's chemist (complete with its distinct blue sign), and finally seeing the famed harbor where the lifeboat station is located—it was truly good fun.
