Dale was awesome! My friend’s watch fell off into the water and he was nice enough to join another tour on his day off to go out again and retrieve it. The watch still works! (Garmin water resistant smart watch). He was very informative about the sea caves and we even went a little further than a typical half day tour. We had a great time! Highly recommend Lost Creek Adventures and Dale is a great guide!!! - Mia and Krista
Guides (Curt and Mike) were friendly, helpful, skilled, and entertaining. Especially enjoyed Curt's song on the way back in the van! Our boat (tandam) was a bit of a beast, but glad the waves on the way back in didn't blow us over! So, so glad we got into the caves. Beautiful day.
An experience of a lifetime! The weather cooperated and we were able to get into the most awesome spaces/places. Thank you Lost Creek and Spenser!
Our guides, were awsome...... Highly recommend this lost creek adventures kayak trip to everyone.
Michael and Alec were our tour guides. They made sure we were comfortable with kayaks and were very knowledgeable about the area. Will recommend to my friends!
The sights on the trip were amazing. The sea caves we saw on the half day tour were not as intimidating, meaning next time we will do a full day tour and aim for some hopefully larger caves! Alec is a great tour guide and is confident in what he does! The instruction on the beach is brief and to the point, but is just enough to make the tour go smooth. Hopefully we make it back up next summer!
We had a fantastic time! Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Our guides were great. We enjoyed learning about the caves and Lake Superior on our journey. Look forward to going again and have already recommended it to friends and family.
We were blessed with a beautiful morning trip. We had two very knowledgeable, and attentive guides. It was a very nice way to start the beautiful day. Thamks for the experience.
Great trip! Had fun seeing the caves and guides were awesome! We stayed out a little past our end time to see one more part of the caves which was nice. Would do this same trip again & would definitely recommend to anyone else.
Guides were good and informative but life jackets were musty, dirty and smelly. Next time I’ll try a different tour.
Everything with the trip went extremely well and the owners accommodated is on short notice. The 8 AM departure was great.
It was an excellent adventure. Mark and Emily were wonderful guidez.
We loved this trip. Guides were great - the day was perfect and the sea caves were amazing!
The staff were great and helpful. The guide explained about the caves. The trip was well worth the very affordable price. I will not forget the sights of the caves. So beautiful.
Small group size so trip could be more flexible. Great informative guide. Beautiful location
Gage was terrific! Finding the location was really simple. There is a small beach near by to kill time if you’re early. Intro to kayaking instructions and driving to location was all extremely fast and he was very informative on all things related to where we were going! The water was a little choppy and he let us choose if we wanted to go out, go to another location, or reschedule. Which made us feel in control of our adventure and reassuring that he isn’t in it for the money and wanted us to have a good time! Tour was beautiful! Easy! Informative! Bring a snack for you and the guide while you’re out there!!!! 10/10 would reccomend! We’ll be back for winter! (Clearly not to kayak)
Guides were friendly and knowledgeable and led us to beautiful areas along the cliffs to see the sea caves. It would have been nice for my husband, a very experienced kayaker, to have been able to paddle a solo kayak, especially on such a calm day on the water & in such stable vessels...that was my only disappointment. Then my sister and I could have paddled together.
Our guides were very fun and knowledgeable! They gave us great instruction to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience and were accommodating to the various skill/comfort levels of everyone on the trip. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is considering it.
Weather was perfect, Emily did a great job!
We has the most PERFECT day to explore the Apostle Island Sea Caves! You could not have asked for better weather. Our guides (Jeff and Aaron) were great! It was obviously that they both really enjoyed what they were doing and that made a positive impact on our kayaking experience. They were both knowledgeable about the area and provided our group with interesting historical and geographical information about Lake Superior. I would definitely recommend Lost Creek Adventures to anyone!
The guses and trip was amazing!
Our tour guide, Jacob, was knowledgeable, patient, and informative, as well as humorous! The sea caves were impressive and we were given ample time to enjoy these natural treasures. The gear and kayaks were in decent condition. The commute to and from the office was friendly and safe. I'll be looking forward to taking friends on this reasonably priced tour.
instructors were very good, very very friendly. I was happy to have a kayak big enough for my legs. However, lack of rudder and steering was extremely annoying. the kayak was constantly turning left
Our group of 7, ranging in age from 16 to a very fit 75, had a great time on the 8am tour. There were a total of 11 people on the trip, plus the two guides Sam and Gage. The guides were knowledgeable, conversational and funny. We saw eagles, trees, plants, as well as the sea caves. Kayaking on the gently rolling waves was awesome. We edged into several tight spaces as well as angled through arches. It was a great day to spend on the water. The 8am time period was also a beautiful and quiet time to be on the lake. As we came off the water around 11:30, the parking lot was partially full and many kayaks were on the lake. I felt we had the more personal and unrushed tour.
Sam and Bailey were friendly and professional guides. Great trip!
Trip was wonderful. Non working rudder. Jacob tried, but to no avail to get the rudder to work.
