Next, the tour proceeds to the historic village of El Realejo, established in 1532 during the early years of Spanish colonization.

A short walk through the streets of this humble town reveals hidden remnants of one of Nicaragua’s earliest colonial settlements. You will view the ruins of the San Francisco convent from the outside.
