- Spianada Square - Spianada Square is the town’s most prominent monument. Its name comes from the Venetian term for an “open flat area,” and it is reputed to be the largest square in the Balkans. The Liston, part of the square, features some of Corfu’s finest cafes and restaurants. The French transformed Spianada into a public square, which was previously a large empty lot used for defense before the 19th century. Cricket matches are held on the Esplanade, the only place in Greece where the sport is played.
- Corfu Museum of Asian Art - Situated in the northern part of Corfu town’s historical center square, the Palace of Saint Michael and Saint George is the largest and most significant building from the English rule period, which began in 1814 and ended in 1864 when the Ionian Islands were reunified with Greece. Built at the behest of British Lord High Commissioner Sir Thomas Maitland, it served as his luxurious residence and the administrative headquarters. Today, it houses the Corfu Museum of Asian Arts, the only museum in Greece dedicated solely to Far Eastern and Indian art and antiquities. Founded in 1928, its collection includes approximately 15,000 works of Asian art and is internationally recognized, with rare items featured in global exhibitions.
- Holy Church of Saint Spyridon - The tour also includes a visit to the Church of Saint Spyridon, the island’s patron saint and a renowned miracle worker.
- Old Town Hall of Corfu (San Giacomo Theatre) - As the tour navigates the narrow streets, it will pass by the Town Hall Square of Corfu, once an exclusive Venetian neighborhood with an opera house and surrounding villas. The town hall building, initially a club for noblemen, became the Noble Theatre of Saint Giacomo of Corfu in 1720 and was converted into a Town Hall in 1903.
- Jewish Synagogue - The Jewish quarter, known as Evraiki in Greek, was the old Venetian “ghetto” located in the city’s southeast section near the Venetian fortifications. It featured alleyways lined with faded, multistoried houses reminiscent of Venice. The ghetto lost its urban unity due to bombings during World War II.
