Manta Ray Experience - An amazing day out with Paul and the crew. Well run, with knowledgeable crew -Liz, Ellie, Ellie and Kris. Three different experiences in one day with three drops to swim with the Mantas. Added bonus in seeing dolphins and swimming with the elusive wedge fish. The array of sea life - turtles, fish and reef sharks made the day!

First time snorkelling, would highly recommend!! - This was my first time snorkeling and I absolutely loved it. I was a little nervous at the start, but I told the crew it was my first time and they were amazing. Chris and Ellie really looked after me, made sure I felt comfortable, and explained everything clearly. Seeing the manta ray and turtles was an unforgettable experience, and I’m so glad my first snorkel was with such a friendly and supportive team. I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to snorkelling and would highly recommend this tour.

Impressive day tour - Wonderful day tour with lots of snorkeling and fine food. The crew was highly motivated and told us a lot about the marine and coral world.
We were lucky enough to see mantas, turtles and sharks snorkeling.
We were quite tired and satisfied in the evening from the many impressions.

Bucket list Expernciee - Swimming with Manta Rays - POSITIVES.
Swimming with Mantarays was an amazing experience at a bucket list level.
As an added bonus we saw 9 x 1.5 metre reef sharks in a shark cleaning station where the sharks came in popped up in a 45 degree angle and opened their mouths. Smaller fish swam inside and cleaned their teeth. This was amazing and unexpected.
The coral was some of the best in the world.
We also saw a couple of turtles close and with good visibility. We also saw an octopus and lots of fish.
They had spotter planes and this was essential.
We also had three manta ray experiences.
NEGATIVES
Whilst most staff were friendly and knowledgeable, there was an exception.
We waited from 7:45am and were not in the water until close to 9:20am (after a 5 min bus ride and a 20 min boat ride). We needed two bus trips to take everyone. This in itself was a 15+ min delay + other inefficiency. However, we were out for an extra 30 mins which offset this to some extent.
There seemed like endless rules. Yes. We need to have rules but there are different ways to convey them.
- They had rules that did not apply to their staff (photographer identified manta rays from their underside yet we never saw the underside and were not allowed to dive under the water. This was hypocritical.
- The rules were impossible to follow. Float on the surface like a star but listen. Human beings cannot hear when their head is submerged underwater. Do not kick near the coral. However, they had 28 people in the water at the same time sometimes in shallow waters. This was way too many people at the same time for any wildlife in the wild experience. When you were behind someone else you were seeing the bubbles from their kicks. People were trying hard not to kick each other with their fins but it was unavoidable. I was then chastised twice by the person who appeared to be the boss. Once for getting too close to the coral when it was impossible to avoid and listen to the guide. There was not enough space with 28 people in the water. I understand that this is a commercial venture but this is way too many. The second time was when I did not hear the people telling me to stop whilst my head was underwater following the manta ray. I was told to swim with one ear out of the water (which means I could not have seen the manta ray properly) and to take the hood of my stinger suit off (whilst I did this, I suffered from severe sunburn as a result). There was still someone else following. The staff member chastised me did not want to listen just chastise and this soured the experience.
Did not pickup from Exmouth but another tour did. I hired a car to book onto this one because it seemed to have the best reviews.
Without the negatives mentioned, the experience would have been 6 stars.

Ningaloo Reef Manta Ray Experience! - An absolutely unforgettable day with the Coral Bay Eco Tours team! Seeing manta rays up close and snorkelling the stunning Ningaloo Reef was truly special. Huge shout-out to Kris for the incredible photos (worth every cent) and to Marina, Liz, and skipper Matt for going above and beyond. Highly recommend the Manta Ray Eco Safari — we’ll definitely be back for the whale sharks! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great day on the boat - Mega nice day spent on the boat. Not only did the crew make sure that we were allowed to have a really great experience with the manta rays, but they were also very careful with the animals. We had several snorkeling trips and saw not only the manta rays, but also turtles, reef sharks and much more. Everyone is super sweet and totally attentive. We had a great day and would go along again and again.

Amazing experience with Manta Rays - Had the most amazing experience swimming with 10 or more Manta Rays, as well a couple of Leopard Sharks. Also got to admire the coral and the many species of fish in the water. The guides were particularly informative and guided us through the 6 snorkel sessions. My thanks to Marina who look after this old git, as the current was strong at times! A decent lunch was also provided by the crew. The onboard professional photographer Laura took some great pictures of the Mantas, which we were able to purchase afterwards.

Top experience, were only small group of 6 people. 2 swim assistants in the water Ash and Marina plus Chris, Forogr - 1 day earlier it was not yet clear until 2 pm whether there were enough guests, only 5, they wanted to leave open until 4:30 pm tour. Otherwise we could get 1 day later or full refund. Guy very nice. Then later received mail that everything clearly within itself had reported guests. So exactly 7:50 meeting point at the office which was 50 m from our pitch in the peoples caravan park. Super briefings, super help for me and my husband, over 60 and snorkeling newbies . Everything top and safe , always Eco Tours!!

UNREAL experience - My boyfriend and I did the manta ray eco tour and had the most unreal day. The staff were super friendly and personable and really knowledgeable. We saw manta rays, reef sharks, octopus and soooo many gorgeous little fish and corals. HIGHLY recommend this trip to anyone visiting coral bay, or just visit the area specifically for this. We will definitely be doing this again.
