Hygge, lunch and some unusual facts / information! - Peter was our guide for myself and the other solo member of the party. We covered a lot of ground encompassing the highlights of Copenhagen, with Peter pointing out suggestions, places to go see/visit. He provided a stack of information ranging from what you'd read in tourist guides to stuff you'd most likely never know about such as the turning the dog figurines when you were 'happy' or not on the windowsill.. Also had a great lunch during the well paced walk. If you are new to Copenhagen highly recommend!

Copenhagen Highlights & Hygge Guide Walking Tour - I had a wonderful experience on the Copenhagen Highlights & Hygge Guide Walking tour today. My guide, Oskar Silz was fantastic - extremely knowledgeable, friendly and engaging throughout the tour. He shared so many interesting stories and insights about Copenhagens history, culture and daily life. The walking tour was well planned and gave a great overview of the city highlights plus a couple extra sights that a tourist exploring on their own could potentially miss. Oskars passion for Copenhagen really shows and made it more memorable. I would highly recommend both Oskar Silz and the Copenhagen Highlights & Hygge Guide Walking Tour to anyone visiting the city.

Coped a walked in Copenhagen. - Windy and worth it! What a wonderful time with Peter as he walked us through all the sights and sounds of Copenhagen. He was an encyclopedia of Danish knowledge and answered every question I had. He was patient and I never felt rushed. Highly recommend this tour and request Peter if you do.

Special Copenhagen Experience - At the beginning of January, my partner and I joined a city tour in Copenhagen, and it turned out to be a very special experience. Since no one else had signed up that day, we were lucky enough to enjoy the tour just the two of us. Our guide, Lukas, was fantastic - very friendly, open, and interested in making the tour personal and engaging for us. He shared many fascinating stories about the history of Denmark, but also gave us great insights into what life in Denmark is like today. Walking through the city with him felt relaxed and personal rather than like a typical guided tour. He showed us some of Copenhagen’s most iconic sights, including Amalienborg Palace and Nyhavn. Seeing the guards at Amalienborg in their special uniforms because the King was hosting a New Year’s reception was an unexpected highlight. Overall, the tour was informative, enjoyable, and very memorable. We felt truly welcomed and would absolutely recommend this tour - and Lukas as a guide - to anyone visiting Copenhagen.

Five hours flies by - It is very nice experience very red laid-back. Morning day was amazing. And the afternoon lunch was just the right size. Oskar did a great job. We only had three people in our party, which was really nice but Oskar says they only go up to 10 so in the busy season that would be ideal. Well done Viator and the tour group.

Not much in way of Hygge - We booked the Highlights & Hygge Private Tour expecting a thoughtfully curated experience centered around the Danish concept of hygge — atmosphere, coziness, design details, little rituals, meaningful stops. Unfortunately, the hygge component never really materialized. The tour felt more like a casual walk-and-chat through the city. Our guide was friendly and pleasant, but there wasn’t much structure, storytelling depth, or intentional creation of cozy moments. We kept waiting for something that felt distinctly Danish and atmospheric — a tucked-away candlelit café, a design conversation, a sensory element — but it remained fairly surface-level. The lunch was genuinely good and the strongest part of the experience. That felt well chosen and enjoyable. Beyond that, though, it didn’t feel significantly different from something we could have pieced together ourselves. Overall, it was perfectly fine — just not the immersive hygge-focused experience the name of the tour suggests.
