Marlady is the best tour guide in Brazil! - I did my tour with the tour guide named Marlady. She did a great job at thoroughly explaining the important Brazilian history. We got to see the beautiful scenic views and monuments that make Brazil what it is today! I went on this vacation alone, so she assisted in taking photos for me and even helped me make friends with other solo travelers! She really did make the overall experience fun and exciting! If you’re looking for a great time in Brazil, I highly recommend using Marlady as your tour guide! You won’t regret it!

I would recommend it - We did the Cristo Corcobado and Pao de açucar tour. The guide, Monica, a great professional, watching the whole group and giving very pertinent and complete explanations. We were a group of different backgrounds and we were fluent in Spanish, English and Italian. Highly recommended

Joy and professionalism on the part of the Gabriela guide - The company Rio Carioca Tour very professional. Punctuality, good transport unit with air conditioning. The "Gaby" guide very good in Spanish and Portuguese. We travel 19 people from Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Portugal and Costa Rica.

Quick tour at Rio de Janeiro - It was a wonderful experience going on this 4 hour trip before my flight with Francine at Rio de Janeiro. Francine was aware of my time constraint and took me to both these places and on the way showed me a few other places. She breezed me through the lines, described the historical significance and even took photos and videos on her phone as my phone had one of its camera that was water logged!! I would recommend Francine as a private guide if you are in Rio de Janeiro.

Worth doing just because you are in the area. - The tour itself was interesting and certainly worth seeing. Crowds were way too much with inconsiderate people being intrusive on others tourists. The tour did not provide pick up to our hotel, so we had to make our way to them only for the guide & driver to be late leaving us to have to an Uber to the next stop. The guide was not as informative or as organised as we expected. A

A nice tour but can be done solo - I really liked our tour guide Joanna. She didn’t shy away from talking about history and politics and I learned a lot, found it very interesting. I think that was the part that was worth it. If you’re not into the history and just want to see the sights it might actually be easier to buy tickets to sugarloaf and Christ. I thought tour would be easier but tbh it was more convoluted.

Christ Redeemer - The guide was not helpful. She was too interested in her phone. The microphone did not work and, although I booked a tour in English, she seemed to deliver more in Portuguese

Horrible Tour Guide Experience - We joined this tour to Christ the Redeemer with great expectations, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The weather on the day was absolutely horrible — heavy rain, poor visibility, and unsafe walking conditions. There was no sighting of the statue at all, which completely defeats the purpose of the tour. What made the situation worse was that we were not allowed to cancel or reschedule, despite the conditions being clearly unsuitable and even dangerous to walk in. I understand that the weather itself is out of the tour operator’s control, and I do take that into account. However, the decision to proceed with the tour regardless of safety and visibility is within their control. In conditions like pouring rain and zero visibility, the responsible approach would be to reschedule the entire tour or offer guests an alternative date. This would show care for both customer experience and safety. I am extremely unhappy with how this was handled and cannot recommend this tour unless weather conditions are guaranteed to be suitable.
