Delay of more than 1 hour to leave, lack of information, unprepared guide - Bad experience.
My mother and I bought the package to meet Arraial do Cabo on November 21.
The combined was to leave the front of the hotel at 7:20 a.m. 7:15 My mother and I were there. We saw several excursion buses depart, except ours. I sent several messages to Rio Carioca Tours that only informed me “that the guide would call by my name” and “that it was for me to be calm”. No explanation was provided. 07:50 in the morning a van picked us up (we were the first, so I know the fault was not the delay of other passengers). And we pass in another 3 or 4 hotels to pick up other passengers. Afterwards, we were taken to the micro bus and we searched for more passengers. Finally leaving Rio de Janeiro at 9 a.m.
Since I had been informed that the exit was “early morning”.
Already on the road the guide asked us if we knew of the possibility that there was no boat ride due to the winds. The answer was unanimous: None of the 30 passengers knew of this possibility.
Finally did not have the bus ride. I understand it is something beyond the reach of the transport team, being a decision of the Navy, but that possibility should be clear. The Enterprise sent me messages with the whole script and at no time said that the ride could not happen. Of the 4 informed locations we would know, we know only ONE.
We arrived at the beach at 1 p.m. The guide charged us 15 reais each for the taxi, and we used the boat (which she said was 20 reais) and the taxi was 30 reais. Making the calculations we should pay 10 reais of difference, but the guide was so confusing, but so confusing, that it could not explain anything to anyone.
We stayed only two hours at the beach and had to return for lunch and after we were taken to a horrible beach where we could stay for 1h. The agreement was to find the guide at the venue at 5:30. We got there at 17:27 and found no one. The guide from another Enterprise helped us and said I would call her. About 30 minutes later the guide appears saying that they were all on the bus and only we were missing (9 people).
At no time did the guide make a nominal call to check if they were all there, and on the return stop to the bathroom she almost left without two passengers. We needed us, the passengers, to ask the driver not to leave because people were missing.
Extremely disorganized, very good customer service before paying, then bad service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY OF THEM.

not a private tour - It was a full big bus of people not a a private tour. The guide did speak at length in Spanish (seriously for 20 minutes non stop at at time) and 2 sentences in English afterwords. The explanations and guidance were minimal in English. The beaches were not just overcrowded but people were almost on top of each other. Forget about swimming. The boat cannot dock at the beaches so it stays away from the shore and a small motorized boat takes you to the shore for 30 minutes after 3 hours of bus travel to two different beaches each time. By the time you disembark, find some place to stand in the water and come back to board the boat, you have realistically 15 minutes in the water which you do not enjoy. You stand in the water because it is just too many people. The time to enjoy pretty water and beach is minimal. But time to travel to the place depends on traffic (3-5 hours one way) and makes it almost not worth it at all given what is offered at Arraial. Also note that by the end of the tour when you are coming back to the dock to board the bus back, the waters get really rough. If you are only going there to see the nature and put a check mark on your list, do it. Otherwise, it is really not worth it the way it is organized at this time.
