Copacabana - After breakfast, take a stroll to visit the Pilcocaina Temple and capture stunning photographs of the lake from a unique perspective, then return to Copacabana. Visit Copacabana’s temple before lunch, then take a bus back to La Paz city for an overnight stay.

The tour begins at Sucre’s main local market with a traditional “Tojori” breakfast, a hot and filling corn-based drink. Visit the obelisk and Bolivar Park, a beautiful plaza. Sucre is famous for its dinosaur tracks, and the park reflects this trend. After the park visit, take local transport to a viewpoint offering majestic views of Sucre. Overlooking the city, La Recoleta blends history and tradition. Take an afternoon bus ride to Potosi (3 hours).

Potosi - Hotel pick-up at 9 a.m.
Visit the mines at the base of Potosi’s historical Rich Hill. Observe the miners’ work system, unchanged over time. Tour the galleries and interior levels, where miners have built statues representing their gods, like The Uncle of the Mine (the devil). See mineral veins, chimneys, and engage with miners to learn about their daily work methods. Take an afternoon bus to Uyuni and spend the first night there.

Isla Incahuasi - Hotel pick-up at 9 a.m.
The tour starts at 10:30 a.m. from our office. The first stop is Uyuni’s ‘train graveyard’ to see Bolivia’s first locomotives. Visit the small settlement of Colchani. Continue to the vast Salt Flats of Uyuni, at an altitude of 3650m. Capture photos on the expansive white salt, see Los Ojos de Agua Salada (‘salt water eyes’), and visit a hotel made entirely of salt, now a museum. After lunch, proceed to “Isla Incahuasi” (Fish Island) to hike to the top and see giant cacti and petrified coral rock formations. Take fun perspective photos against the salt flats’ striking white surface. Witness a beautiful sunset over the salt flats.
Uyuni
Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve of Andean Fauna - Start the day at 7:00 a.m. with breakfast, then visit the Chiguana Desert, south of the Uyuni salt flats.
Travel along a rocky road - Pasito Tuntun - to the stunning Andean lagoons, home to three species of Andean flamingos. Marvel at three lagoons: ‘Cañapa’ with the first pink flamingos, ‘Hedionda’ where lunch is served, and ‘Chiarcota’ with a variety of birds and altiplanic fauna.
Enter the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve and visit the Siloli Desert at 4550m, the highest and driest desert in the world. Take a photo by the ‘Rock tree,’ a lava rock formation. Before reaching the day’s final destination, stop at the Red Lagoon viewpoint to see more pink flamingos and admire the intense red-colored lake. Stay overnight at a shared family lodging, “HAYLLAJARA.”
Uyuni
Laguna Verde - At 5 a.m., have an early breakfast. Begin with a visit to Sol de Mañana Geyser at 5,000m. Walk alongside fumaroles and steaming craters with boiling mud at 150-200°C. Continue to the open-air hot springs for a bath in 35°C water.
Visit the Dali Desert, where Salvador Dali found inspiration from scattered boulders. See the Green Lagoon, with toxic copper water at the foot of the Licancabur volcano, 6000m high, near the Bolivia-Chile border.
Return to Uyuni, enjoying beautiful scenery along the way, and have a picnic lunch by the roadside. Pass the Valley of the Rocks, the Alota settlement, and the San Cristobal Village. Arrive back in Uyuni by 6:30 p.m.
Take a night bus back to La Paz.
