• Grotta dello Smeraldo - The Emerald Grotto was uncovered in 1932 by a local fisherman named Luigi Buonocore. It derives its name from the unique color of the water, where light filtering through the rocks creates breathtaking hues ranging from blue to emerald green. This is one of the few caves still accessible on the Amalfi Coast, measuring about 30 meters in width. Its highest points feature columns, stalactites, and stalagmites, crafting a captivating setting for the many tourists who explore the Divine Amalfi Coast each year.

The entrance may seem unremarkable, but within moments, the usual perception of time and color fades away. The cave showcases its grandeur, a tapestry of light woven over millennia, with the sea reflecting the most exquisite shades: cobalt blue transitioning to turquoise, then to green, and finally to emerald green, enveloping everything in its beauty.
