We passed ASA courses and had an awesome teacher. The boats were old and had some things wrong with them, but for the price, it was great.

The instructor was great . But the school put way to many men in one boat, when we asked and was assured it would be the 3 of us instead it was 6 altogether. Now happy

Captain was incredible! However, you filled the boat up with too many people. Not very happy after the communication about only one other person was joining our party. 6 people is too many for the boat you provided.

It was a great day of sailing and I learned a lot about general boat operations, maneuvering with the motor, MOB, mooring ball retrieval and good sailing with interesting people.

Just finished the ASA103/104 course with South Coast Sailing Adventures (SCSA), led by Captain Craig. Absolutely outstanding experience! It's a ton of information to absorb, but the live-aboard for three days really helps to drive it home. We practiced a lot of useful maneuvers; e.g. Man Overboard (MOB), how to properly set an anchor with the appropriate scope, confined docking, etc. Sleeping and eating the vessel accelerate the learning curve, and we all were using the correct nautical lingo by the last day. Cap'n Craig really set the tone for continual learning, but also having fun with the "voyage". We also got to experience some significant weather on day two, with some sail malfunctions and somewhat angry seas (for Galveston Bay, which isn't that bad). The reward for the hard work of Day two was a beautiful morning on Day three, with placid seas and clear skies. Seeing dolphins on the way back to the Marina was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend SCSA, and especially Cap'n Craig!
