Our guide (Ben) was both informative and entertaining. The group visited the William and Mary campus as well as the Palace Green area of Historic Williamsburg, and I heard several ghost stories which I had not read about before. Also, the weather remained clear and mild for the season.
For not knowing what to expect and not having any other tours to compare this too. It was a great tour. I was sad that the extreme tour wasn’t available for my chosen night, but am coming back in the future just for that one. Move to see a different side of Williamsburg
We all enjoyed the tour and our guide. Can’t wait to come again and bring friends. Would love to do the other tours as well.
Host was very accommodating and informative. It was a very crowded night for the ghost tours so there was some weaving and altering course, but the host did a fine job navigating the group. The only real complaint I would have is that although the tour ran a little long, it felt like there was more to see or hear about. After the tour, I read about Lafayette's ghostly encounter that he wrote about but it wasn't mentioned in the group. It is odd that it was omitted considering we were at the house it had occurred. Altogether, great job and I was able to learn a little more about the history of the area.
Amy was a fabulous guide. She was very knowledgeable and could answer any of our questions. We did notice several spirits in our photos. I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone who comes to Williamsburg!
Our guide Amy was wonderful...knowledgeable, interesting and made it a fun experience. And the pictures she shared, and that the group took, we're amazing.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable with the material. She made the history come alive and interesting. Enjoyed the tour very much and would take the tour again.
We were under the impression we were going to visit some houses/bldgs... not only to hear stories
It was so fun and informative!
The guide that was leading my group seemed as if she were rushing to finish before the possibility of rain. She sped through a lot of stories and told many as we were walking about.
The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Absolutely awesome, even with the rain! Definitely recommend!!!
We absolutely loved our tour guide! I don’t remember her name, but she was a small blonde woman and she was great! The stories were fun and the history was interesting!
The guide was very interesting. Loved the history and the stories.
It was so much fun and Carrie was a wonderful guide!
The Original Ghosts of Williamsburg Tour was a great way to learn more about Colonial Williamsburg. I really loved the stop at William and Mary. It was a nice walk at the perfect pace with stops at points of interest. Our guide walked backwards so she could add some additional tales between the stops. It was creepy enough to give you shivers but not so scary as to frighten my 7-year-old. This was a wonderful way to spend more time in Colonial Williamsburg in the evening after the exhibits close.
Enjoyed the stories about the area and past residents.
Guide was very informative and the tour was a lot of fun. I thought I knew a lot about Williamsburg history, but I didn't know nearly as much as our guide did! It was a highlight of our stay.
