The Madu Ganga River area is known for producing some of the finest cinnamon globally and boasts a thriving cinnamon industry. Then, admire the fishermen who patiently perch on large branches planted in the water, awaiting their catch.
Proceed to a local Turtle Hatchery, where the guide will introduce various local turtle species. Conclude the tour with a visit to the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fort showcases the unique blend of European architecture and South Asian traditions from the 16th to the 19th centuries. After exploring the fort, return to the hotel in Negombo.
