- Mattakkuliya - Guests will be collected from their hotel and taken to the Mattakkuliya Bridge. The cycling tour begins at 0800 hrs at the Bridge. The route spans 60km and takes about 5 hours. Bicycles and necessary gear, including helmets, will be provided. A cycling guide and a backup vehicle will be available to handle any emergencies. The cycling path includes regular rest stops with refreshments like water and energy bars.
- Negombo - Riders will journey through the countryside along the Dutch Canal and the Western Coastal Belt in Sri Lanka. Along the way, they will experience the local fishermen’s lifestyle and may observe various fishing techniques and hear fishing-related folk songs.
During the route, visitors will explore the Dickowita Fishery Harbour and a Salt Fishing Village in Negombo.
- Negombo Lagoon - Following this, participants will enjoy a Negombo Lagoon Boat Trip, discovering the crab and prawn catching methods used in the lagoon.
The tour concludes at 1500 hrs at the Negombo Fishing Village. At the end of the tour, guests will be returned to their hotel in Colombo. The cycling route is a gentle stretch covering approximately 45km.
