A Journey Through Colombo’s Rich Tapestry

Arriving in Colombo by ship, I was immediately struck by the vibrant energy of the city. The port was bustling with activity, and the air was filled with the scent of the sea mixed with the aroma of local street food. As I disembarked, I was greeted by my guide, who offered me a choice between the traditional tuk-tuk or an air-conditioned car. Given the tropical heat, I opted for the latter, a decision that allowed me to explore the city in comfort while still experiencing its unique charm.

Our journey began at the iconic Colombo Fort Clock Tower, a testament to the city’s colonial past.
