Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs - The Ibbankatuwa ancient burial site is located five kilometers before Dambulla town on the Kurunegala-Dambulla Road. An archaeological department sign indicates the turn-off from the main road. The site is accessible by traveling about 500 meters along this road. Developed into a tourist attraction in 2017, it is now open to the public.
Ederagala Wana Senasuna - Ederagala Wana Senasuna is a serene Buddhist temple in Dambulla, Matale District, Sri Lanka. According to inscriptions found in the caves, the temple’s history dates back to the 2nd – 1st century B.C. It is located beside the Ambepussa – Kurunegala – Trincomalee (A006) Highway, just 6 km from Dambulla city. You can reach Ederagala Wana Senasuna within 15 minutes from Dambulla Cave Temple.
Sigiriya Museum - This excellent museum features a detailed diorama of the site, providing a comprehensive overview and explaining Sigiriya’s cultural significance beyond its natural beauty. The theory that Sigiriya was a Buddhist monastery is presented here, although the prevailing view is that it was a palace or fortress. (Combine with Sigiriya fortress)
Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - Rising dramatically from the central plains, the enigmatic rocky outcrop of Sigiriya is perhaps Sri Lanka’s most striking sight. Near-vertical walls ascend to a flat-topped summit containing the ruins of an ancient civilization, believed to be the center of the short-lived kingdom of Kassapa, offering breathtaking views across mist-covered forests in the early morning.

Golden Temple of Dambulla - The Rock Temple of Dambulla, known as Jumbukola Vihara (Dambulla Cave Temple) in the (Mahavamsa)-the principal Pali Chronicle of Sri Lanka, is located about forty-seven miles northwest of Kandy, the last capital of the Sinhalese kings, on the main road to Anuradhapura. Dambulla is of unique interest. Its rock temples are the most extensive on the Island, and among the most ancient, in excellent preservation and order.
Kandy Lake Club - Cultural Dance Show - A Kandyan dance performance is one of the defining experiences of a stay in Kandy. Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - The golden-roofed Temple of the Sacred Tooth houses Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist relic, a tooth of the Buddha. During puja (offerings or prayers), the heavily guarded room housing the tooth is open to devotees and tourists. However, the tooth itself is not visible. It is kept in a gold casket shaped like a dagoba (stupa), which contains a series of six dagoba caskets of diminishing size. In addition to the revered main temple, the complex includes a series of smaller temples, shrines, and museums.
Kandy View Point - Climb the hill by Kandy Lake to reach Kandy viewpoint and enjoy an unbeatable view of the city. As a popular tourist spot, the area attracts many peddlers, though they often sell sub-par items. The area also has a reputation for high pickpocket activity, so keep an eye on your belongings. From the hill, you can enjoy great views over the lake and the city as a whole.
Kandy Lake - Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is an artificial lake in the heart of the hill city of Kandy, Sri Lanka, built in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe next to the Temple of the Tooth. Over the years, it was reduced in size. It is a protected lake, with fishing banned. There are many legends and folklore regarding the lake. One such is that the small island at its center was used by the king’s helm for bathing and was connected to the palace by a secret tunnel.
Kandy - Ella By Train

Ella - Train journeys are genuine cultural experiences, and the most scenic routes will be highlights of your visit - particularly the wonderful journey from Nanu Oya to Ella Train Station, which travels through man-made tunnels, beautiful mountains, and tea plantations in the hill country. The scenery from the train is breathtaking, like a green carpet of tea bushes rolling by, with colorful sari-dressed tea pickers popping out of the sea of green. Journey time is (6 to 7 hours).

Nine Arches Bridge - The Nine Arch Bridge spans 91 meters and stands 24 meters high. It is a truly scenic location, especially as it is surrounded by dense jungle and agricultural land, thanks to the beautiful nine arches. A forest thrives behind the railroad, and below it, tea is being grown.
Little Adam’s Peak View Point - Little Adam’s Peak, named after the sacred Adam’s Peak (Sri Pada – where the footprint of Lord Buddha is preserved) due to the similarity between the two mountains, is also known as “Punchi Sri Pada.” It stands 1141 meters high. Little Adam’s Peak attracts many travelers to Sri Lanka. With an easy hike up the mountain, you can enjoy a panoramic view. Walk through lush green tea plantations, waterfalls, and paddy fields while enjoying the scenery. Experience the Flying Ravana Zipline activity.
Ravana’s Cave - The Ravana Cave is located about 2 km from Ella town and 11 km (7 mi) from Bandarawela. It is a small cave, measuring about 50ft wide, 150ft long, and 60ft high. History suggests that the cave was used by King Ravana to hide Princess Sita.
Demodara Loop - The Demodara railway line is a well-known masterpiece of engineering. From the station, the railway line winds its way and comes directly under the station through the tunnel excavated inside a mountain.
