PLAYA BLANCA ISLA BARU - Pick up from our hotel at the scheduled time. Little break during the journey of 1h30... our guide Karina told us the life of the island and Cartagena. Do not hesitate to show us explanations for us French who sometimes did not understand everything... she was present at every moment.... playa blanca, many dd people then lencha, playa tranquila .. turquoise sea, warm, without too many people... meals... A little piece of paradise.... pity that jetskis come and go, due to their noise and the smell of fuel, just a little disturb this quiet. I recommend... thank you Karina.

Colombian National Aviary and Baru Beach Tour with Transportation - The National Aviary was excellent. The birds were beautiful. Our guide was good enough to personally meet my daughter and I at our lodgings even when that location was not on the list of pick up sites. We had a relaxing time at the beach at Baru. They had private shade covers and bathrooms and the lunch was very good. The tour I selected did not say we we also going to Baru Beach as well as the Aviary but it was still enjoyable even though we didn't have swimsuits. Only four from our bus chose to stop at the Aviary while the rest went strait to the beach. We had around 1-1/2 hours at the aviary. I think I would have liked to have spent more time there. Many of the birds are very tame. We had one who jumped into my daughter's lap. A parrot walked up to me while I was viewing the enclosures and stated chewing on my shoe. We had a great time. The main destination for this tour is definitely the beach. We spent close to 4 hours there. Make sure to bring cash. There will be people selling food, drinks, trinkets and personal massages. Be prepared. I would highly recommend taking this tour.

Love nature - I loved seeing all the different types of birds. It was really fascinating. The peacocks were beautiful and there was a funny bird who was just laughing and making us laugh.

Great day the beach. - Great day at the beach with a very tasty lunch. A bit of confusion as the meeting point was different than the itinerary said. Not our guide’s fault and she was actually great in communicating with us. Shout out to Karina. If to want a great day at the beach with amazing water you can’t go wrong.
