Puerto Nariño - Guests are picked up at the airport and taken on a fast boat journey to Puerto Nariño, a fascinating 70 km route along the Amazon River via public transport. This journey leads to Puerto Nariño, a delightful town in the Colombian Amazon, home to three thousand residents where the only vehicle on the streets is a garbage truck. A walk through the jungle, approximately 2 km, leads to Carlo’s Jungle Cabin. Carlos, a native Ticuna shaman, will guide visitors through the jungle to his home. A traditional jungle dinner will be served, allowing guests to appreciate the vibrant jungle nightlife, with the hope of encountering wildlife. The next morning, guests return to town for breakfast. Triborder dinner included.
Reserva Wochine - Venturing into the high jungle for about an hour, visitors arrive at the Wochine Reserve, managed by a native Tikuna family dedicated to fish farming. Here, guests can encounter the Pirarucú, the largest fish in the Amazon River. The reserve offers a chance to observe fish, aquatic fauna, birds, and animals in their natural habitat during a jungle walk, and admire the Victoria Regia, the lotus flower, the largest flower in the world.
