Very Informative World War Two Experience - We learned a great deal Michael, a highly knowledgeable historian and longtime resident of Koln. We saw some of the few remaining examples of the effects from the war and learned that the city was over 80% destroyed by an infamous RAF bombing attack in 1942. We were especially impressed by the fact that the famous Dom (Cathedral) was able to restored to its present glory. We also learned about how the Jewish people and other opponents of the repressive regime suffered and how they are now being remembered.

Absolute waste of time and money - Hi Ross, I’m sure it doesn’t come as a surprise our disappointment with today’s tour. A WWII Expert Guide was suppose to dazzle us with personal stories and shocking facts about the Third Reich and Nazi terror - it was more of a walking tour of Cologne’s cathedral, the bridge and a couple of churches. I’m sorry to be so blunt, and you seem like a nice enough guy, but I feel compelled to share “a very disappointed” single star review for yesterdays tour, it was a complete waste of time; we were so much looking forward to a great morning. Viator needs to do a better job to confirm “expert guide” status. Wednesday was better but still well below average - and that’s if I’m being nice. Sorry dude I don’t want to hurt feelings - but feel like direct honesty is required here.
