A Seamless Start to Our Island Adventure

Our family had been eagerly anticipating our trip to the Collectivity of Saint Martin, and the Pinel Island Tour was at the top of our list. After our hike, we cooled off with a swim in the crystal-clear waters. The kids splashed around while my husband and I relaxed on the beach chairs, soaking in the sun. Lunchtime was another highlight, with a reserved table at a beachfront restaurant. We indulged in a delicious Caribbean meal, choosing snapper and grouper, which were both fresh and flavorful. It was a treat to enjoy such a meal without the hassle of reservations.

Snorkeling and Wildlife Encounters

Post-lunch, we had the option to either sunbathe or snorkel. Naturally, we chose snorkeling, as it was the main reason for our visit. Ryan provided swimming tubes, and while fins weren’t allowed, he assured us that the tubes would suffice. For our youngest, who’s still building confidence in the water, Ryan allowed the use of fins, which was a thoughtful touch.

The snorkeling experience was nothing short of magical. We encountered a vibrant array of marine life, including colorful fish, corals, a small turtle, and even a shark! The water was so clear, and having Ryan guide us ensured we explored the best spots safely. The kids were in awe, and it was a joy to share this underwater adventure with them.

As our day on Pinel Island came to a close, we were once again treated to VIP service on the ferry ride back.
