- Laguna del Inca - Relish the view of Inca Lagoon and its history. Legend has it that the spirit of the Inca, Illi Yunqui, haunts the watery tomb where he laid his beloved, Princess Kora-Illé, to rest after she tragically fell from a cliff during a royal mountain banquet. The Inca Yunqui, overwhelmed with sorrow, believed no earthly grave could match this lake. Wrapped in white linen, she was lowered into the blue depths in the presence of the grieving imperial court. From that moment, the waters took on the emerald hue of her beautiful eyes. The lagoon is located beside the first and oldest ski resort in South America, Portillo. Enjoy free time for lunch (at the client’s own expense) and explore the lake’s shores (except during the winter season).
