Red granite boulders, aqua blue waters - After many visits to Tassie we finally got to do the Freycinet Walking Tour. The Freycinet peninsula is like something out of a movie - just a stunning setting. The walking tour was a wonderful way to experience a small part of this amazing landscape. Our guide Annie was super helpful and knowledgable about its history and features. Put this one on your list of must do side trips.

Great walk in a great setting - If you’ve had the good sense to make Freycinet in the wonderful state of Tasmania your travel destination, doing this wonderful walking tour should be a no brainer. It provides a fascinating introduction to the park, not too tiring and going through sensational scenery. Our guide (Sophie) provided really interesting insights into the area to put our wider stay in context. Highly recommended.

A great must do experience when in Freycinet National Park - What a treat it was to be taken on a walking tour of the beautiful Freycinet National Park, taking in all the beautiful features, including Wineglass Bay. The tour was personal, insightful and full all the small things you would miss if you did the walk unguided. We really enjoyed the walking tour, as a family it was a great experience. The drinks and food, along with the locations were all brilliant. To top it all off, the boat ride back to the Freycient Lodge was an unforgettable experience, to be able to see the fantastic views from a different perspective. A well worth tour to do when in Freycient National park.

Great day out - Great day out. Walking and swimming both at Wineglass Bay and Hazard Bsy was fantastic. Organisation was really professional and our friendly and knowledgeable guide really brought the experience to life. Tea and packed lunch were also great. Boat transport back is really wonderful and a fitting end to a great day. Would heartily recommend.

Great walk - Really enjoyed our walk with Sophie and we were very impressed with how she dealt with one of the walkers in the group who was obviously struggling with the terrain. She was very informative on the history and nature and fun to be with. It's a lovely walk but quite long if there's no boat lift from Hazards beach. Delicious picnic too!

Dip your toes in the blue waters of Wineglass Bay - Amazing hike with Sophie who was relaxed and informative. She catered for the requirements of the entire group and it was just such a perfect way to see Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay. Lunch was delicious and the sun came out just as we approached Hazards before hoping on the Ferry back to the lodge (we even saw some seals on our way home)! Thank you so much for spending the day with us Sophie and for sharing your knowledge and love of Tassie.

Great 5 hour hike - The hike took us through a variety of landscapes from bushland, mountainous terrain through to beaches, seal spotting and a boat ride back. We even encountered a snake on the way. Our guide, Ali is very knowledgeable about the areas we visited, its indigenous history, the creation of the amazing rock formations and the vegetation, including its therapeutic uses. She is a warm, engaging guide with great energy and made the whole experience a very enjoyable one.

Beautiful Scenery and Great Guide. Nice Lunch. - We really enjoyed our day. The boat trip was off that day because of the weather. We still had a great time. Our guide was local and she was very knowledgeable Lunch was on a beautiful beach. So scenic. I think the hike was a bit longer for us because the boat trip was off but we loved it.

Great way to see Wineglass Bay - Great walk, not too difficult, fantastic views, great lunch and Alex was an informative and charming guide. It was rounded off well by crossing the neck of the peninsular to Hazard Beach an taking the boat back to Freychinet Lodge. The breakfast at the lodge is also very good.
