Stunningly beautiful and historically intriguing - Filipe was a fabulous guide. His knowledge of The University of Coimbra and it's long history was so engaging! The Joanina Library & Capela de São Muguel were stunningly beautiful. Filipe curated our time in these places with artistry and acumen, giving us time to really take it in.

Informative, fun, felt like an adventure - Had a great time! The tour hit all of the highlights of the location, but also was very informative on the overall history of Portugal and our tour guide presented the information in a very fun way that stuck with us. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Guide - Wow, I’d give more stars, if that was possible! Our 2 hour tour with the effervescent Roger was both informative and entertaining. Likely because of his background as a writer, Roger’s knowledge and presentation was second to none. He even read one of his poems to us, when requested. Many thanks Roger! I will keep an out for your published works! Thank you, also, for taking that wonderful photo of us!

Great university of Coimbra tour - This tour of the University of Coimbra was a great day trip from Porto. Renan was my guide, and I appreciated his enthusiasm for showing his Alma matter. As a local of Coimbra, he was quite knowledgeable with not only the university’s history, but also with regards to Portugal’s history. If you have an extra day in Porto, or are staying in Coimbra, check out this tour.

Beautiful university tour - This was a great tour to have done with an extra day in Porto. I took a bus during the morning to Coimbra, and made it in time for the start of the tour. Renan was my guide, and being a local that had attended the university there in Coimbra, he was perfect to show me around and explain the history of the university. The library was incredible. Definitely consider this tour if you have some Extra time in Porto.
