Guatemala City - Begin the day with a pick-up from your hotel, heading to the north-central region of Guatemala. The journey starts at 6:00 am, allowing you to relax and nap on the bus. We’ll pause for breakfast at a roadside restaurant. Enjoy the scenic drive and stunning landscapes.

Ramtzul Resort - Upon arrival at the Ram Tzul Natural Reserve, explore the bamboo forest and stroll through the cloud forest to reach a breathtaking lookout with views of a waterfall and lush greenery.

Ranchitos del Quetzal - Next, we’ll visit Ranchitos del Quetzal, a sanctuary for the national bird, El Quetzal, known for its vibrant feathers. We’ll stop here for lunch, and with some luck, spot a Quetzal in the distance.

Orquigonia - After lunch at Ranchitos del Quetzal, we’ll head to an orchid sanctuary in the cloud forest. Discover around 400 orchid species and learn about them through 9 interactive stations. Capture photos and enjoy your visit.

Coban - Conclude the first day with a city tour of Coban, rich in history and culture.

Semuc Champey and Kanba Caves

Coban - Start the day early for a journey to the Natural Heritage site of Semuc Champey.

Semuc Champey - Spend the entire day here, hiking to the viewpoint of the turquoise natural pools, swimming, and having fun. Later, explore the nearby Kanba Caves and delve into the earth’s wonders.

Lanquin - At day’s end, travel to your hotel to rest and prepare for day 3.

Birdwatching and Sugar Cane Mill

Ranchitos del Quetzal - On the final day, rise early to visit Ranchitos del Quetzal. Besides being a sanctuary for El Quetzal, it hosts many other birds and flora.

A local tour guide will accompany you to ensure you don’t miss spotting these beautiful creatures.

El Rancho - Stop for lunch before continuing the return journey to Guatemala City.

Guatemala City - After three days of adventure in the cloud forest of Las Verapaces and visiting iconic Guatemalan locations, you’ll be returned to your hotel in Guatemala City.

Day 1 begins with a scenic drive from Guatemala City to Ram Tzul Natural Reserve. Continue exploring at Orquigonia, where a kaleidoscope of orchids awaits amidst the misty clouds. Snap photos and marvel at the beauty of over 400 species of orchids in this enchanting sanctuary. Conclude the day with a captivating city tour of Coban, steeped in rich history and culture.

On Day 2, venture deeper into the heart of Las Verapaces as you journey to the natural wonderland of Semuc Champey. Dive into the mesmerizing turquoise pools. Then, delve into the depths of Kanba Caves and embark on an exhilarating underground adventure.

Day 3 brings a final dose of excitement as we get to Ranchitos del Quetzal. Join a local guide for a birdwatching expedition before delving into the fascinating history of sugar production at the Sugar Mill Museum.
