Start your adventure in Cobh, exploring the Cobh Heritage Centre, St Colman’s Cathedral, and Spike Island. Then, take a ferry and continue your journey through the Cork City to Passage West Greenway, a former railway line now adorned with native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers.
Ride along the tree-lined Marina, adjacent to the world’s second-largest natural harbour. Learn about Cork’s sporting legends as you pass by Páirc Uí Chaoimh Stadium, the heart of Cork GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) and a venue for Ireland’s traditional games. On the way back, enjoy a brief stop at the impressive Blackrock Castle, a 16th-century fortress that now houses an Observatory.
